Exclusive Interview: Wildstar Content/Social Systems Developer Tiffany Chu

We got a few minutes to talk to Tiffany Chu who is a content designer for Wildstar. She has worked on social systems as well, but is now concentrated on the tutorial systems.

In this interview Tiffany gives us some more in depth descriptions of how the guild systems will work, how tutorials will work and basic friend systems will work in game.  She also gives us some teasers on another social system: circles.  Circles will allow you to set up groups; one for your work buddies, one for fellow college students, etc.

Tiffany details that the tutorials are being designed to be helpful, but not in your face about.  If you don’t want the tutorials, fine, disable them.  They are also designing them so that it is regimented to you in a orderly fashion.  When you first start out you only get what you need to learn when first starting out.  The rest of the tutorials will be given to you as you encounter any new aspect of the game.
