Wii Karaoke U Features Totally Uncensored Song Lyrics

Who knew your Nintendo Mii had such a dirty little mouth.

Remember what a bummer it was to play Rock Band and Guitar Hero and to have all your song lyrics censored? Well Nintendo is saying FUCK THAT SHIT!

It's sort of a tradition for me to photoshop a header for my stories... but there was honestly no way I could make that image funnier and that is an actual screenshot from the game. The game was released last month in the UK with a PEGI 3 rating (which is the equivalent of an E rating from the ESRB). Nintendo of Europe released an official statement in defense of the game:

Wii Karaoke U by JOYSOUND is intended to provide users with access to a large catalogue of songs from a broad range of music labels across a variety of musical genres – designed to appeal to all music tastes. As such Nintendo does not restrict which songs are included in the catalogue of songs featured within the Wii Karaoke U by JOYSOUND application.

While the game does warn users while downloading songs that they are not individually rated by PEGI; it also does not tell users which songs contain explicit lyrics. There is an option to enable Parental Controls... but all that does is require a pin code for EVERY song in the game despite its content.

There is no word on Wii Karaoke U being released in the US... but I suggest we all start yelling obscenities at children just in case. In the meantime enjoy watching a Spanish guy's Mii singing Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing":
