The Beginner’s Guide releases this Thursday, October 1, 2015, for Mac and PC.

The teaser site for the game tells nothing more than the release date and the platforms, but the graphic does seem to be that of a stage. Maybe that will have something to do with the game.

Some screenshots from the game seem to present a very surreal quality, maybe even a dreamlike one, as well.

According to tweets from those who have played the game, it has a mind-blowing story, Sven Bergström even writing that parts of his brain had “blue-screened.”

Few other details on the game have been given. However, Wreden’s Twitter has confirmed that the The Beginner’s Guide will be a first person narrative and won’t be released under the Galactic Cafe banner, as it is a solo project.
