Mortal Kombat X Kollector's Edition

Mortal Kombat X Kollector's Editions announced, grab yours if you fear a sell out.

Mortal Kombat fans can rejoice, as they have announced the collector's edition of the upcoming launch. What should bring even more joy is that there seems to be an edition for everyone's budget. These four collector's editions range from $90-$180 and are detailed below.

Mortal Kombat X Premium Edition (PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC, $90, Download Exclusive):

This is the bare bottom edition that goes above the regular edition. This edition comes with:

  • The Kombat Pack, which includes access to four add-on playable characters from Classic Mortal Kombat fighters to guest characters

Mortal Kombat X: Kollector's Ediiton (PS4, Xbox One, $95, GameStop Exclusive):

This version of the game contains small bonuses for the game. For the cheap collector, this could be the option you are looking for. This edition includes:

  • A Scorpion Skin inspired by The Cold War
  • The Kombat Pack

Mortal Kombat X: Kollector's Edition (PS4, Xbox One, $150, Available Everywhere):

This is a little bit on the steep side for a Collector's Edition, however the die hard fans of the Mortal Kombat series will not want to miss out. This edition includes:

  • Scorpion Figure and CoA designed by Coarse.
  • In-game Gold Scorpion Skin.
  • The Kombat Pack

Mortal Kombat X Kollector's Edition (PS4, Xbox One, $180, Amazon Exclusive pictured above):

This is the top-of-the-line collector's edition for the Mortal Kombat fan. The downfall to this is the possibility that it may not make it to you on launch day unless you pay extra. This edition comes with:

  • Scorpion Statue
  • Exclusive Steel Pack and Steel Card
  • Mortal Kombat X: Blood Ties Comic Book Volume 1
  • Gold Scorpion Skin
  • The Kombat Pack

As with most collector's editions, I am almost certain that these will be over-produced. The sad thing is that those who really like Mortal Kombat take a gamble if they wait to buy. The editions could very well sell out, and prices could rise. I do not advise waiting to purchase if you are anticipating these editions.
