God of War new voice actor revealed

Kratos is getting a new voice actor.

At Sony's E3 press conference, the company showed off new gameplay footage of the upcoming God of War game. A big shocker was that Kratos now sounds much different than he originally did.

Christopher Judge, known for his role as Teal'c in Stargate SG-1, announced that he will be voicing the iconic character of Kratos on Playstation's LiveCast. He also confirmed this on his Twitter account that he would be voicing the character. The original voice actor for Kratos, TC Carson, also confirmed on his Twitter account that he would not be voicing Kratos, saying that:

"Sony went in a new direction."

The new God of War game has Kratos taking on Norse Mythology. And now he also has a son, with gameplay that is vastly different from the original. No official release date has been set for the game yet.
