Ubisoft Has Hope for Wii U and PlayStation Vita
With all the recent drama with Microsoft and Sony with their next-gen consoles, it can be easy to forget that the Wii U is still one of the competitors even though it’s already coming up on its one-year anniversary since release.
There has been some good news recently for the Wii U from video game publisher and developer Ubisoft that they will continue to support the console and make games.
Also, with this news some have been wondering about the PlayStation Vita and how it stacks up with the competition. The same thing is true with the recent push of the Vita by Sony; Ubisoft will continue to support the hand-held console.
Ubisoft wants to continue to make games that will work on the Wii U and PlayStation Vita.
In a recent interview with IGN executive Alain Corre, he stated: “both systems have the potential for growth in the future.” The Wii U and PlayStation Vita teams will have their concern in the sales department when the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One release later this year, but I think that Nintendo fans are still going to be showing up for all those exclusives that make Nintendo, Nintendo.
