To celebrate Quakecon, Steam is once again having a sale to tempt gamers to expand their library.

The annual Steam sale to accompany Quakecon has started up and will continue over the weekend. A large number of games are on sale including all ID games. With Fallout 4 fast approaching you could take this opportunity to pick up Fallout 3 and New Vegas at very cheap prices to whet your appetite.

The best deal of the weekend is the Quakecon Bundle 2015 which includes 34 items for £75, saving you over £100. The sale is on for the whole weekend and is definitely worth checking out, as it includes games such as hidden gem Call of Cthulu: Dark Corners of the Earth.

Of course, Steam sales are well-known for seducing us gamers into purchasing games that we are unlikely to ever play. So while the sale is most certainly worth a look, treat it with caution and only buy a game if you intend on playing it soon. After all this is about the tenth time that Skyrim has been on sale, so don’t worry that you will never get another opportunity to buy these games on the cheap.

Will you be taking advantage of the Quakecon Steam Sale? Or do you already have enough unplayed games in your library. Let us know what you pick up below?
