Tomb Raider Sells 1 Million Copies in First 48 Hours

I mentioned that SimCity sold 1.1 copies as of… well, today. However, lets enjoy the fact that Tomb Raider, one of my all time favorites, sold 1 million copies in the first 48 hours.

The original game sold a whopping 7 million copies in 1996–so the new reboot has a ways to go before it can make such a claim, but this stat page shows that it’s already well on its way to glory.
