So, I managed to come across this in the wee hours of the morning. A leaked gameplay video of the first 10 minutes or so from the Far Cry 3 standalone expansion, Blood Dragon. I wrote an article on the heavily 80’s theme game here if you are interested in checking it out, and viewing the original trailer.
So, right away I started laughing watching this. With a mixture of what looks like Mad Max and the Six Million Dollar Man, the protagonist’s transformation into a combat cyborg is artfully and hilariously done. Shortly afterwards, the player is dropped into a helicopter shooting anything and everything to the relaxing dulcet tones of what I THINK was Little Richie.

Afterwards the player is dropped down into combat. Or at least, that’s what you would expect. The main character is then plagued with pop up tutorials, explaining the most basic of things to the player as if the were mentally damaged. The funniest pop up being that if you payed for a special version, pop ups would go away and the game would play itself for you. Anyways, I hope you guys enjoy the video and get as hyped as I am!
