Final Beta Test Weekend for Overwatch starts Friday, April 15

Beta Test Weekend starts on April 15 for those who have opted-in for Overwatch Beta

Running from  Friday, April 15 through to Saturday, April 16, Overwatch will be having its second and final beta test weekend across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. The aim of this weekend is to perform a stress test, so there will be plenty of opportunities to get in on the test. It is invite-only, so make sure you are opted-in!

Accounts will start to get flagged for testing on Thursday, April 14. If this happens to you, make sure you download and install the client as soon as possible so that you are ready for when the stress test begins the following day. Make sure you look out for either an email (although they can sometimes be a bit slow to come through) or an install button on your app.

For this weekend, players will have access to all 21 heroes and the maps for Hanamura, Route 66, and Nepal. Some features, such as Competitive Play, will not be available during the stress test. Be ready to give feedback on how the game is performing and other technical issues. As it is a stress test, Blizzard is looking to push their systems to the limit, so there may be some performance issues -- but that's what they are looking for.

The full beta test weekend FAQ can be found here, where you can also find links to the closed feedback forums and support.

It all started with an Atari ST and here I am, all these years later, still loving video games! Indie games are where my heart is and where it'll stay. The world of indie video games is ever evolving and such an interesting arena to be a part of!

Thanks for posting this. I didn't even realize there was a beta- I went and signed up last night. Hoping to get into it this weekend!

I don't think I'd be able to survive the heartache of not getting into the beta again... :'(
