New Fatal Frame Heading to Wii U

A new Fatal Frame installment could be just what Nintendo needs.

Fatal Frame is a fan favorite among those who enjoy the horror genre of video games. Most of the installments have been through PlayStation and Xbox--two titles went through Wii U in 2008, but neither made it over to Western gamers.

Well, that might change.

Nintendo and Tecmo Koei are working on a new Fatal Frame for Wii U, though no titles or release dates have been announced; right now, the game is only known as "zero."  A live-action film and original novel will be releasing in coordination later this year, along with an original comic.

It's definitely no secret that the Wii U has suffered. A lot. However, with the release of a new Fatal Frame, and Bayonetta 2 on the way, could the Wii U see a decent rise in sales? Could this be the start of the lift Nintendo desperately needs? Comment down below.

Honestly those games do make the Wii U more appealing to me - I'd rank the next gen console as 1.) PS4 2.) WiiU 3.) Xbox One mainly based on Nintendo's upcoming games. It's been hard for the WiiU to attract third party developers - but Fatal Frame seems like a great addition

Between this, Mario Kart 8, and Smash, I'm kinda thinking about getting a Wii U now...

These games are PERFECT for Wii U, and frankly I'm surprised they're this late to the party. I'm looking forward to seeing more of it, Maybe if it works out they'll take another crack at Pokemon Snap, too (thought it occurs to me that I might be the only one who would actually enjoy that...I regret nothing.)
