The upcoming PlayStation Meeting is just five days away. According to some sources, the PlayStation 4 and its newfangled controller are going to be announced. Could this leaked controller prototype be the real deal?
The PlayStation 4 rumors have claimed the new controller will have a touch screen for video capture. The leaked image above confirms this, but what’s going on with the glowing blue bar at the top? Has Move technology made its way into the core controller?
The speaker in the middle as well as the new analog sticks and directional pad are also something to ponder over.
Multiple sources have confirmed with Destructoid that this leak is indeed real, but is of an early prototype of Sony’s new controller — and the chassis it’s plugged into does indeed look like a dev kit.
This is all just too exciting! We’ll get some official information on Sony’s plans come the meeting on February 20. Until then, it’s time to put on our thinking caps.
