Deep Down: Capcom's next big game announced!

A futuristic game set in deep dark dungeons with killer monsters.

Capcom has come out with a new creepy dungeon-based game called Deep Down. In Deep Down you are a person in New York in the year 2094 who goes into memories to unlock a mystery. These memories are dark and filled with monster infested dungeons as opposed to foreign cities like in Assassins Creed.

Some details about the game

This game is an online multiplayer co-op game that uses Capcom's new Panta Rei engine. The monsters, loot, and dungeons are randomly generated throughout the game. This means the monsters features will be randomized, so instead of the same monster each will be different. It combines some of Japan's roleplaying traditions with more Western-style gameplay. This game looks creepy with all its monster filled dungeons and the fact that it is only online really turns me off to the game - but this game does seem cool and other gamers who like this type of game will likely have a blast playing it.

Deep Down will only be available for the PS4 and the release date has not been confirmed.

I'm not a huge fan of the dungeon aspect but being in the year 2094 sure takes it on a spin. Should bring in a good twist on the game!
