As the fifth numbered installment in the series approaches, an earlier notice of a two week delay for PC gamers dissapointed and staggered fans of the series as well as proponents of PC gaming. While the online component Metal Gear Online will still be released in January for PC as opposed to October for consoles, players looking forward to the story will not have to wait to see the next chapter in the Metal Gear Solid series.

Metal Gear Solid V will feature a brand new story for the hero and eventual antagonist Big Boss as he seeks to rebuild and advance his army a nation after the devastating attack that was featured in the prologue Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes that released last year. You can look for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain when it launches worldwide on September 1st, 2015.
