Blizzard is sponsoring a contest for fans from August to October where you can submit an original comic based on one of their products–namely Starcraft, World of Warcraft, or Diablo.
Each month one entry will be chosen for a prize. Blizzard excitedly announces the contest on Battle.net, where they assure fans that although there is only one winner some people will also receive honorable mentions for their hard work.
This is a win-win for both fans and Blizzard. Budding artists have the opportunity to show off their work, and Blizzard creates customer engagement that encourages creativity.
The prizes and deadline for submissions for each month are:
- August: Risk: Starcraft Collector’s Edition (submit by 8/31/2013)
- September: Diablo III Book of Cain (submit by 9/30/2013)
- October: Art of Blizzard Book Standard Edition [Hardcover] (submit by 10/31/2013)
