Use this guide to learn the tips and tricks to getting all of the senpai to notice you in mobile game Notice Me Senpai!

New mobile game Notice Me Senpai follows the same successful formula of Neko Atsume: lure senpai (older male classmates) to your self-run cafe through a combination of high-grade coffee and their favorite decor and treats! They will leave a tip of either coins or jewels (like the silver and gold fish in Neko Atsume) once they leave, which can in turn be used to buy more coffee and decorations.

The game has proved highly addicting for thousands of mobile gamers, and monthly updates from developer Skillshot Labs keep the game fresh with new content, minigames, and senpai!

Notice Me Senpai has already proven more complex than its similar-style predecessors with the implementation of a “hearts” system; each senpai’s feelings towards you are rated on a scale of 1-5 hearts, dependent upon the number of visits he has made to your cafe.

At 3 hearts, senpai will leave you a letter; at 5 hearts, a special event will occur which ends in a lovely CG of senpai ( and some special senpai have an additional event at 4 hearts). Updated content includes a “petting” minigame wherein you can work to increase senpai’s affection even after 5 hearts have been reached, and additional events for birthdays and after a specified number of visits beyond the “5-heart” event.

With all this content and 28 senpai to fall in love with, it sure can get confusing to try to keep track of your progress. That’s where this guide comes in. Use the information presented in this guide to mark each senpai’s favorite gifts that will keep him coming to the cafe frequently, as well as to compare how close you are to earning a new letter or CG. As new content is released, this article will update with the new information that you need!

General tips
  • Senpai like fancy coffee! Though most will show up for basic beans if you have their favorite item, the higher-quality beans (gourmet, golden, and magic) will attract more senpai and earn you more coins and gems for each visit.
  • Try to upgrade to a larger cafe ASAP. You will double the size of your space, allowing for double the amount of senpai. Be warned: this also means you will have to provide double the amount of beans, so start stockpiling! The cafe upgrade costs 200 gems.
  • If you’re in need of gems, try this neat little cheat: if you have at least 500 coins and 15 gems, use the gem-to-coin converter in the shop to convert 15 gems into 500 coins. Then, use the coin-to-gem converter to convert 1000 coins into 20 gems! Congrats, you just gained 5 gems without breaking a sweat!
  • Decor that costs gems instead of coins will typically attract more senpai. Start saving up gems right away.
