Challenge Dark Myths to Bring Your Loved One Back to Life in Black Book

Morteshka and Hype Train Digital are cooking up an evocative new RPG with Black Book. The "tactical, card-based RPG" follows the trainee sorceress Vasilisa on a journey to bring a loved one back from the dead, and a demo is available as part of the Xbox Summer Game Fest demo event.

Vasilisa must contend with myths and monsters from Slavic folklore as she travels across a beautiful stylized landscape. Rogues, villains, and shades block her way, but Vasilia has a few cards up her sleeve to deal with the threats.

The game features a card-based combat system, but Vasilia won't be battling alone. While the world is a fearsome place, she'll encounter plenty of friends along the way and can even recruit demons from among her foes to fight by her side.

Black Book is planned for release sometime in the third quarter of 2021 and will launch on all major platforms. Stay tuned for more as we learn it.
