Brace yourself for a few changes and additions to Guild Wars 2, but nothing too huge.

Some pretty exciting events have been going on so far, name the Dragon Bash Living Story. Aetherblade is the theme this go round as well as lots of sky pirates. Additionally, Guild Wars 2 will be undergoing some trait shifts and additions, so be prepared to be a bit flexible with your skill builds.

Starting June 25th some exciting things will be happening. From June 25 to July 9 there will be a new story dungeon called “Aetherblade Retreat.” Break into the Aetherblade base, battle pirates, get the goods.

Then on July 1st, they’re releasing a new, permanent Aetherblade jumping puzzle where you find the holographic mountain, battle some pirates, and plunder the spoils. You know the drill.

As with the Dragon Bash event, Aetherblade-themed items will be up for grabs in dungeons and in the Gem Store. Monocles, goggles, and various engineer-like garb awaits you, you classy Charr you–or whatever race you fancy.

Along with new skill traits there will be new conditions, one of which is called “Torment.” Clearly that isn’t going to be a boon.

June 25th is the big day to check for these events, as well as some other developments outside the game. Find out more announcements here
