Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number Release Date Set

Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number has a release date of March 10th on PC and all three current PlayStation platforms.

Gamers anxiously awaiting the release of Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number will be able to get it in less than two weeks.

A release date is set for March 10th for the extremely violent 8-bit shooter. It will launch on PC, Mac, Linux, PS4, PS3, and PS Vita. There will be the standard edition and the Digital Special Edition, which includes the game's soundtrack and PayDay 2 masks.

The retail price for Hotline Miami 2 is at $15, but most places like Steam and Green Man Gaming have the game at a 10 percent discount for those that pre-order. It wouldn't be a surprise to see a sale on the PlayStation version when that's released.

March 10th was the expected release date after the official Twitter account for Hotline Miami had a phone number for fans to call. It hinted for the eventually confirmed date.

Hotline Miami 2 will not be available in Australia. The game was refused classification, effectively banning it from the country. Dennaton Games' lead designer told a fan wanting the game to just "pirate it" if the game was still not released.
