Turn-based strategy game Emerge: Cities of the Apocalypse receives a small update containing some new content.

What is Emerge: Cities of the Apocalypse?

The player takes on the role of the remnants of humanity. The cities of the world lay in ruins, their streets full of the walking dead. You must regain control of the world’s major cities one by one. In order to succeed, you must research lost technology and build defences to help you combat the unrelenting hordes of zombies.

Trade supplies with wandering merchants and scavengers. Upgrade your base to increase production, research and wealth. You are the last hope of humanity. This is the last stand between extinction and rebuilding civilisation to its former glory.

What new content does the update offer?

The new update may be small but it adds nice additions to the game including:

  • New random event
  • New boss enemy
  • New mission
  • New bonus
  • New achievement

The new boss, achievement, and mission gives veteran players of the game some new challenges to face. While the other new inclusions offer some new unexpected surprises.

Return to the cities of the apocalypse

The new update gives veterans of Emerge no better reason to return to the cities of the apocalypse. For those who are yet to play it, it gives them additional content for no extra cost. The game is currently on sale with 40% off on Steam till October 24.
