Our guide will provide you with tips on how to farm memory shards in Grimlight, to maybe fill in the blanks in your roster or just add to your memory shard stockpile.

Complete Challenges

Players get memory shards at the end of each story chapter, and you can get more by completing challenges, which can be accessed by following these steps:

  1. Tap on the completed story chapter of your choice.
  2. Tap on the “Challenge” option.
  3. Complete the challenge.
  4. Claim an extra memory shard in the end.

Note that the challenges are basically the same chapter stories, but all enemies are 10 levels higher, and they also have +25% physical resistance boost.

But if you complete both the chapter stories and their challenge modes, then you get twice as many shards.

Complete Weekly Tasks

This method isn’t as lucrative as the previous one, but you can still get extra shards each week by completing the weekly tasks.

Follow these steps, if you wish to take part in the weekly challenges:

  1. Tap on the “Missions” menu.
  2. Tap on the “Weekly” feature.
  3. Select an active weekly task.
  4. Complete the task to claim your memory shard.

You can repeat these steps each week and earn more new shards.

Play on Arena of Souls

The arena doesn’t reward players with memory shards directly, but you can earn gold coins, regardless whether you win or lose, and use these coins in the in-game shop to purchase memory shards.

Here’s what you need to do to be able to enter the arena:

  1. Tap on the “Arena” menu.
  2. Tap on “Find Opponent” button.
  3. Wait for the matchmaking to begin.
  4. Complete the match-up to get your gold coins.

It is possible to earn about 50 gold coins each day on arena. In just ten days you can earn 500 coins, which is enough to purchase one memory shard at the shop.

That’s everything you need to know on how to farm memory shards in Grimlight. If you’re looking for tips on how to reroll, then check out our Grimlight: Best Characters tier list guide.
