Stephen Colbert: The Video Game

Stephen Colbert has created his own video game, and it's surprisingly not the worst thing ever.

Stephen Colbert, former host of The Colbert Report and soon-to-be host of The Late Show, is apparently creating a video game. The called, The Late Show With Stephen Colbert: Escape From the Man-Sized Cabinet, and you can play it now on your browser from The Late Show’s website.

The Objective

The game has a simple plot. The goal of the game is to help Stephen Colbert escape a cabinet that he is locked inside of. That is it, but don’t let the simplicity fool you. I actually tried the game, and found it amusing and worth at least a one-time play through. If you’re worried about their not being jokes, don’t be. There is plenty of silly humor to go around.

It is unclear how much effort and time Colbert actually put into creating the game, but he is definitely taking credit for it on his Twitter account. Now, if you’re wondering if this game is difficult or complex, the answer is of course not. But like I said, it’s humorous, worth a try, and if you’re a fan of Stephen Colbert, you will find this game entertaining until the end.
