Thief Arrives in North America in February

Square Enix and Edios Montreal recently announced the latest Thief release date. Thief: Stories from the City will arrive in North America on February 25.

Square Enix and Eidos Montreal recently announced gamers can expect to play Thief: Stories from the City by February 25, 2014. I expect this release date to hold up. They also released the third trailer for this new video game, “The Thief Taker General’s Hunt,” which you can view here. The third trailer shows a world from an earlier age, with a dark and gloomy feeling. The Thief Taker General’s speech gives you a creepy feeling as you watch.  The scene feels evil and immerses you in the action. You think you see yourself somewhere in the crowd.

They also released the minimum system requirements to play Thief: Stories from the City, which you can view here.

Thief: Stories from the City is the fourth video game in a series starting with Thief: The Dark Project in 1998. Thief 2: The Metal Age (2000) and Thief: Deadly Shadows (2004) were moderately successful. This newest video game will probably have to do better if the series is to continue.

Square Enix and Eidos Montreal also developed the popular video game Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Expect Thief: Stories from the City to be just as popular.

I don’t expect the developers to push back this latest release date.
