Repentance is The Binding of Isaac‘s last expansion, but creator Edmund McMillen says it’s much more than just a DLC.

Following Repentance‘s release date trailer, McMillen said The Binding of Isaac: Repentance packs in enough content to make it nearly a full sequel. New bosses, floors, paths, items, and even characters are just the beginning.

Repentance‘s Steam page says it elevates the genre to new heights as Isaac descends to terrifying new depths, with heaps of new content — including more than 5,000 new rooms — even for those who maxed out the game thus far. It’s also The Binding of Isaac‘s last expansion.

The Binding of Isaac: Repentance releases March 31 for PC via Steam, though a price has yet to be announced.
