Really Bad Games Stream Going Through This Weekend to Support Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund

Diabetes research awareness, yeah! Probably not work safe, though. Video above unrelated.

Streaming site Organized Chaos (Choose the Twitch option at the bottom of the screen!) is going to be marathon streaming from now until 11:59pm EST April 21 to raise awareness for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund (JDRF).

Recommended Videos

The JDRF was formed in 1970 and has funded $1.6 billion in research on the treatment and cure for type 1 diabetes over the past 40+ years.

You can read more about the fund itself on the official North American or Canadian site. The stream itself forwards donations toward the Canadian site. The Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund has chapters worldwide; including the United States, Australia, Canada, Denmark, Israel, the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, and Mexico. You can find out more at the links provided above.

Now, I’m just going to put this out there: I don’t promise this stream to will be entirely worksafe or quality entertainment (Because internet.), but it is for a good cause.

The stream itself is being run by some fellow internet dwellers simply looking to raise awareness and donations towards the JDRF. The games being featured this weekend are:

  • Cheetahmen
  • Bubsy 3D
  • Ilbleed (Hey, I actually like this one. No fair.)
  • Cooking Mama Wii
  • Duke Nukem Forever

Yes, the games are bad. Yes, the other entertainment is for the neckbeardiest only — but hey! Now you know about the JDRF. That’s the point right?
