It's A Bird, It's A Plane No... It's Scribblenauts Unmasked!

5th Cell and Warner Bros bounce back from controversy and release Scribblenauts Unmasked.

5th Cell and Warner Bros have recently announced the release of Scribblenauts Unmasked: A DC Comics Adventure. The newest installment of Scribblenauts will be released in fall of this year. The game shows Maxwell, the protagonist, and his twin sister, Lily, interacting with DC superheroes and villains like the Joker, Batman, the Flash, and many more.

Look at all those Flashes!

Scribblenauts Unmasked is said to include over 2,000 DC Comics references. 33 Batmans... Batmans? Batmen? Oh whatever - and 130 Green Lanterns just to give you an idea. Not to mention that the backdrop for your adventures is cute little versions of Oa, the Batcave, the Daily Planet and many more.

5th Cell has been able to release Scribblenauts every year since 2009. The last version of Scribblenauts Unlimited featured Nintendo characters like Mario, Link and Zelda--just to name a few.

Warner Bros and 5th Cell did start this month on the wrong foot when they were issued a copyright and trademark infringement lawsuit on April 22 for using Keyboard Cat and Nyan Cat without permission. It is great to see that 5th Cell was able to bounce back from controversy and release Scribblenauts Unmasked in a timely manner.
