Forza Horizon 5: How to Unlock The DeLorean

The DeLorean is widely considered one of the most iconic cars in pop culture and it has now made its way to Forza Horizon 5. Here's how to get it.

Forza Horizon 5 has added the iconic DeLorean car from the Back to The Future movies as an unlockable car in the game. While players must earn the car by completing challenges, a new glitch lets you purchase the DeLorean for incredibly cheap. This guide will go over exactly how to unlock the DeLorean both the legit way and using the glitch.

How to Get the DeLorean in Forza Horizon 5

The DeLorean is being offered as a free reward from the Summer Wet Season and requires 26 Festival Points to unlock. This means you’ll need to grind specific daily and weekly challenges to earn enough points for the car. You’ll also have to act fast as the season rewards will reset on November 18.

Another way to get it would be using the Auction house to purchase it from other players. This is a fast and easy way to get the car if you don’t mind spending your credits. However, there is a cheaper way to purchase the DeLorean which will be explained later on in this guide.

Finally, this vehicle can drop from Wheelspins, but the chances of getting the exact car you want are usually slim.

Glitch to Get the DeLorean for Cheap

From the pause menu, go to the Cars tab and select Car Collection. Then press the dedicated button to “jump to manufacturer” and select DeLorean.

Then select the blank card that is supposed to represent the DeLorean car. You’ll notice that there is no button to purchase this car. However, if you back out of the car collection and then directly enter back in, you’ll be able to purchase the vehicle for just 15,000 credits.

Just click on the purchase button and proceed to buy the it as you would with any other car. While getting any car for only 15,000 credits is already a killer deal, getting the DeLorean this cheap is an absolute steal.

The developers will probably catch on to things and patch this glitch pretty soon, so best to act quickly and take advantage of it while it’s still working. The glitch also works for the first car from other manufacturers but isn’t worth using as none are as cheap as the DeLorean.
