Play Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath for iPhone Now! (Android Coming Soon)

Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath now comes pocket sized for your iOS (and soon Android) devices!

Relive your childhood on-the-go with this remake of the 2005 Xbox classic, Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath on your mobile. That's sure to make any annoying commute fun!

The game was confirmed on the developer's official Twitter account today with a link to an iOS version, and a promise of an Android version coming 'soon':

The game has completely reworked its controls to accommodate iPhones, iPads and even iOS gamepad support. It also includes everything that you would expect form a console game: leaderboards, achievements and cloud save; not bad for a hand-held game. All it requires to run is either an iPhone 4S, iPad 2, iPad Mini or an iPod Touch 5th generation.

The developer boasts the game has "incredible visuals that harness all the advanced graphics capabilities of today's mobile chipsets".

There's no word yet on when we can expect to see the Android version released but for now you Apple lovers can find it on the iTunes store.

But the touch controls on PS Vita were awful, and they still had at least most of a controller's buttons to work with back then! This sounds like a truly horrible idea...

And I say this as someone who 's played Injustice, Dead Space, and NOVA 3 on an iOS device. Some console games can work but games like Bioshock and Stranger's Wrath seem like really out of place choices. That UI in the trailer isn't boosting my confidence either.
