First Screenshots From Tales From The Borderlands Released

I can't describe it any better than Handsome Jack, "You want EVERY part of this insanity."

Tales From The Borderlands brings us back to Pandora after the events in Borderlands 2, and fits right in with the Borderlands canon. The first screenshots for the game are right here...

Tales will tell its story by alternating between the two all-new characters, Rhys and Fiona, and they aren't your usual vault hunters, either. They are clearly working toward a much greater goal. Question is, will they stick together for the whole deal?

Fiona is...

...A clever and classic fast-talking con-artist born and raised on Pandora out to pull the grift of a lifetime.

I suspect she will be centered around talking yourself out of combat, or at least talking a little bit more money into your wallet...

Rhys, her companion is...

...a scheming, low-level data-miner within Hyperion who's plotting his own grand ambitions.

Having a loader-bot on your side seems like a solid advantage. The Psycho would agree, if he could talk.

The players will get to encounter some of the famous vault hunters, like Zero, from the previous editions of the game.

Tales plans to use a bit more talking and a bit less shooting to tell its story, but a good old boss fight is still sure to happen.

Handsome Jack reminds us, "So many people are gonna die."
