Amazon Launches Indie Marketplace

From June 6-10 we're giving away Huntsman: The Orphanage, Dynasty of Dusk, and The Curse of Nordic Cove with any purchase from the Indie Games Store

In hopes to highlight indie developers and their games, Amazon has released their Indie Games Store. The Indie Games Store will hopefully allow developers to reach a larger audience, and will feature “Indie Spotlights.” Indie Spotlights give readers an insight into the life and job of various developers; the first Indie Spotlight features Mike Roush and Alex Neuse of Gaijin Games.

Games that are already being distributed by the service include Bastion, The Cave, Chivalry: Medieval Warfare, and hundreds of other titles. In addition to this launch, Amazon will be running various discounts on almost every title in their Indie store, all the way up to 75% off! Amazon is also selling exclusive bundles of Indie Games, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to the developers!
