For those of you who don’t know, Gamescom in Germany began their press conference line up this morning, and a lot of new information is coming to light. A ton of new footage from many of the games we saw at E3 is being released. One game showcased today was Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall.
As you may remember, Titanfall is a new first person shooter from Jason West and Vince Zampella, the original creators of Call of Duty. After their heated battle with Activision, the pair moved to EA and began working on the upcoming next-gen game.
According to the team, Titanfall will be a story driven experience but with multiplayer integrated. From what I have seen, it looks like this will be a game that will undoubtedly become the next big thing. Watch the gameplay video above to see for yourself.
The game is going to be epic. The big question remains though: Will it usurp the FPS throne that Call of Duty currently sits in?
