How to Craft Wolfskin Armor in Muck Game

Muck's wolfskin armor is a good starting set for damage reduction and a speed boost early on. Here's how to craft it.

Muck is rife with monsters trying to take your head off, so it’s important that wear the right armor to stay alive. There are six tiers of armor in Muck, and only one that doesn’t require metal bars to craft: the Wolfskin armor.

Wolfskin armor is basically this game’s version of leather armor in Minecraft, and it is the first new armor to be added to the game. This guide will cover its stats and how to craft it.

Unlike the other five sets of Muck armor, which are crafted with the anvil, the Wolfskin Armor is made using 45 flax fibers and 45 wolfskin on a fletching table. This armor isn’t amazing, but it’s a good starter set before upgrading to mithril or adamantite.

You can get flax fibers from flax at a 1:1 ratio, so place 1 flax in a fletching table to get back 1 flax fiber. Flax are the blue flowers that spawn in groups of four on the ground and are fairly common.

Wolfskin is obtained by killing wolves. There is a 50% chance that a wolf will drop wolfskin, and they will drop 2-4 pieces when they do. You will need to kill about 30 wolves to get the required 45 wolfskin.

Wolves spawn exclusively at night, with the exception of those within Battle Towers, where they spawn no matter the time of day.

Once you have 45 flax fibers and 45 wolfskin, head to your fletching table. There are four armor pieces to make: a helmet, a chestplate, pants, and boots. To craft each piece, you will need:

  • Helmet: Five wolfskin and five flax fibers.
  • Chestplate: 20 wolfskin and 20 flax fibers.
  • Pants: 15 wolfskin and 15 flax fibers.
  • Boots: Five wolfskin and five flax fibers.

The wolfskin helmet will reduce damage by 3%, while the chestplate will reduce damage by 8%. The pants will reduce damage 6%, and the boots will reduce it by 2%.

A full set will reduce damage by 19%. Not only that, but a full armor set will also give you a 50% speed bonus. Because of the speed bonus, but the low damage reduction, wolfskin armor is a great outfit for long-range combat

That’s how you craft the wolfskin armor in Muck. For more on the survival game from Dani, consider heading over to our Muck guides hub!
