Well, for your starters for both you end up wandering around until you can capture the one thing that you've been searching for. And if you really look at it, Pokemon and gifts are pretty much the same as you never know what you're going to get.

This year you can change that as you can finally be in charge of your own destiny and Christmas decorations.

If you love Pokemon and Christmas, you're going to be blown away with the DIY's I have in store for you that blend both to create some amazing creations.

Upcycled Pokeballs

If you're like most people, Christmas decorations isn't a thing that you regularly buy. In truth, you've probably been putting up the same decorations year after year which means that it might be time for a little upgrade. If this sounds like you, don't run out to the store, simply add a dash of red, white and black to your pre-existing ornaments to add a little Poke-festivities to your Christmas.

Here's what you'll need

-Old/recycled/cheap Christmas ornaments
-Acrylic paint- black, white, and red
-glitter (optional)
-glue (for the glitter option)
-rubber bands

Whether you're looking to deck out your try or create a gift for the Pokemon lover in your life, this is a project that is sure to impress. While it may be daunting to fill up an entire styrofoam ball with color coordinated sequins and seed beads, you'll be glad you did.

From styrofoam, glitter, tinsel and more there is a limitless option when creating but don't forget the plastic clear baubles. True, at first glance they might not look like much but with a little genius thought, simple clear plastic instantly becomes the iconic Pokeball.

You can even make it a fun Christmas project among friends and trade cute and pun-y Pokemon inspired messages.
