Counterfeiting and selling Wii, DS, and DSi games.

Big ol’ Nintendo wasn’t too happy with this, and now Mr. Success-Brooks is going to the slammer for 32 months.

Nintendo has always been adamant about either torturing or seeking out pirates, and it’s no surprise that Success-Brooks has so much jail time to look forward to considering the magnitude of what he was doing.

Your average pirate downloads games for personal play. I’m not saying that’s okay — but selling thousands of counterfeit games over a two year period and making the equivalent to $962,000 is really just. You know… Taking it too far.

Ignoring cease and desist letters, continuing to sell counterfeits even after the police seized what he had, and hopping from one domain name to the next is taking it into full retard territory.

Though he’s been sentenced to 32 months, he’s expected to only serve 16. Hopefully he’ll have learned his lesson once he gets out: Don’t mess with Nintendo.
