Are you feeling the need to jump into the Iron Man suit after coming back from that movie night? Going berserk like The Hulk and screaming “Hulk Smash!”? Well, for this weekend only, you can do those things in Marvel Heroes. So get to their website, sign-up and get to smashing things or blowing stuff up! Unfortunately this open beta only lasts for the weekend, but is a great way to test it out before it is released in June.
Welcome to the Marvel Universe, RPG Style!
We’re all used to basic fighting and adventure games within the Marvel Universe, but now that is all going to change. In case you never read the comics, collected the cards or watched the movies, this is one way you can learn a little bit about each of the characters that this universe has to offer. So get out there, destroy bad guys, super villains, and save the innocents from certain doom! Battle your way to face off against one of the coolest villains to ever the Fantastic Four a run for their money, the doctor himself, Dr. Doom!
Features and Early Access
Aside from playing as some of the coolest superheroes Marvel has created, you can completely customize them. Each hero can be completely unique from others depending on which powers you choose for them, which I think is a great way to keep the game fresh. If you are just starting in this open beta the heroes you can choose from are Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, Thor and Black Widow. This game features an in-game store which allows you to purchase different outfits, heroes and other items using their game currency called GS. If you want to keep playing in this beta before the game is released in June, you can purchase a Premium Pack or Ultimate Pack from the Founders Program.
