First Impressions: Evolve's Big Alpha (PC)
Alright, if you started the Big Alpha since day one you've known that it started out a buggy mess. It put the players into lobbies with ten people and not five, which is the normal max capacity. When the game realized it's mistake, it would kick all the players and make you re-enter the matchmaking. This lasted for somewhere between three to seven hours. If you did manage to get into a game, then you'd know the game will be a huge success.
If you have no clue what Evolve is, it's a game of intense hide and seek. Four players have to embark on a mission to kill a monster feeding on wildlife and destroying everything in it's path. The four playable roles are Assault, Medic, Trapper, and Support with two different playable skins (The second is a new character you unlock) as of now. The Monsters you can get are the Goliath and the Kracken. You have to unlock the Kracken, but the Goliath is not a force to be underestimated. He can charge you, body slam you, throw rocks, and breathe fire. He can also jump great distances to get away from the hunters.
That's my take of the Evolve Big Alpha so far, and I hope to see you in the action!
