Nintendo has released a trailer for their upcoming NES Classic Edition. The NES Classic Edition is an extremely compact version of the classic Nintendo system, which was released in 1985.

Players just plug the NES Classic into their TV, and will instantly have 30 titles available to play. Heavy hitters like The Legend of Zelda, Super Mario Bros 3, and Final Fantasy are just a few of the classic games which will be included in the system.

Along with the 30 games that come along with the NES Classic Editions, each package will include 1 gray NES controller, an HDMI cable, and an AC adapter. It would have been nice for Nintendo to include one more controller with the bundle, as many of the games, such as Excitebike and Tecmobowl are a lot of fun to play with a friend.

Extra controllers are being sold separately for $10 -- and while that is relatively inexpensive, two controllers that probably cost only a couple dollars to make doesn't seem like too much to ask.

NES Classic Edition will be released on November 11th, 2016 for $59.99.

Excitebike Arena joins Mario Kart 8 https://www.gameskinny.com/1hyyo/excitebike-arena-joins-mario-kart-8 https://www.gameskinny.com/1hyyo/excitebike-arena-joins-mario-kart-8 Tue, 28 Oct 2014 13:34:59 -0400 TumsST

As any Mario Kart 8 owner should know by now, Nintendo has plans for downloadable content that will come in the form of new racers, equipment, and tracks. The likes of Cat Peach, Tanooki Mario, and Link have already been announced for DLC pack one but the courses haven't been mentioned too much. The only real mention of them was in the image on the MK8 official site. The first download hits home in November and last time I checked, November is next week.  That changed today with the Excitebike track/arena getting a reveal.

Nintendo has a knack of cashing in on nostalgia and who could blame them? The first download pack screams early Nintendo history with Link, Tanooki Mario, and courses from F-Zero and Excitebike. Who didn't want "will karts be allowed on the Excitebike track?" This shows that Nintendo hasn't lost a step and when you think they don't have a trick or two up their sleeves, they hit you with this. This adds to the excitement for the Mario Kart 8 DLC that's been building up since its release!
