Final Fantasy XIV patch 5.5 is out, and with it comes an end to yet another content lull that's brought markets to their knees and players to AFK. There's a lot to say about the contents of patch 5.5, but our focus here is the new mounts featured in the update.

A total of five new mounts are available in FFXIV as of today's patch, as well as one new chocobo barding for players who like to keep their companions snazzy. So let's get to how you get these five mounts new to Eorzea, as well as how to get the new barding.

FFXIV Mounts: How to Get Gilded Mikoshi and Golden Ronkan

The richest of us have been complaining we've got nothing to sink our gil into for ages. Complain no longer, gil hoarders! Well, no. You can still complain. Just now you can flex on your gil-light friends with either of these mounts.

The Gilded Mikoshi, a golden variant of the Namazu beast tribe mount, costs 50,000,000 gil — no, that's not too many zeroes. That's how much it actually costs. It can be purchased from a new vendor in Mor Dhona named Edelina, found at the spot circled on the below map.

The Golden Ronkan is also a golden variant of another previous mount, the Great Vessel of Ronka.

This one can be bought for 25,000,000 gil from a vendor named Tabeth in Eulmore. Her location is also marked below.

FFXIV Mounts: How to Get the Antelope Stag and Antelope Doe

I'm not sure why it took the developers so long to implement these as mounts, but I am glad to see them added. They're both obtained in different ways.

The Antelope Stag is obtained by trading in 30 Fete Tokens, which are obtained by taking part in the new fetes (note FATEs) in the Firmament. Fetes take place every two hours, and the reward tokens can be traded at the very same vendor as Skybuilder's Scrips for this mount or a number of any other rewards.

Alternatively, the Antelope Doe is available for the standard 8,400 Skybuilder's Scrips at the very same vendor. It's not as dashing as the stag, but I think we both know you'll be getting both mounts.

FFXIV Mounts: How to Get the Diamond Gwiber and Landerwaffe

No Bozja? No Bozja! Might be something worse, though.

Getting the Diamond Gwiber is part of getting the Landerwaffe, as you must obtain every single Gwiber to get the Landerwaffe.

To make things simple, let's list off how to get each Gwiber mount:

  • Diamond Gwiber: May drop from The Cloud Deck (Extreme) (aka Diamond Weapon Extreme)
  • Emerald Gwiber: May drop from Castrum Marinum (Extreme) (aka Emerald Weapon Extreme)
  • Gwiber of Light: May drop from The Seat of Sacrifice (Extreme) (aka Warrior of Light Extreme)
  • Ruby Gwiber: May drop from Cinder Drift (Extreme) (aka Ruby Weapon Extreme)
  • Shadow Gwiber: May drop from The Minstrel's Ballad: Hades's Elegy (aka Hades Extreme)
  • Innocent Gwiber: May drop from The Crown of the Immaculate (Extreme) (aka Vauthry Extreme)
  • Fae Gwiber: May drop from The Dancing Plague (Extreme) (aka Titania Extreme)

As it stands, this makes the Landerwaffe the most difficult mount in the game to get as players have to push through the most recent Extremes and get lucky enough to get the mount for the trial. Or somehow do them 99 times for the totems.

In any case, this makes the Landerwaffe itself a huge flex mount perhaps more so than the extremely expensive Golden Ronkan and Gilded Mikoshi mounts.

Five mounts in a single patch isn't bad, but a large portion of these are a lightyear away for the Final Fantasy XIV's ever-growing new playerbase. Do you plan on shooting for any of these mounts right away? Let us know in the comments below, and check out some of our other FFXIV guides here on GameSkinny.

Final Fantasy XIV 5.5 Update Brings Two Tales to a Close https://www.gameskinny.com/wruk2/final-fantasy-xiv-55-update-brings-two-tales-to-a-close https://www.gameskinny.com/wruk2/final-fantasy-xiv-55-update-brings-two-tales-to-a-close Mon, 08 Feb 2021 13:15:09 -0500 Josh Broadwell

On April 13, Final Fantasy XIV 5.5 will bring both Shadowbringers and the NieR: Automata crossover story to a close in a two-part update leading into Endwalkers. Square Enix also provided additional information about the FFXIV PlayStation 5 beta, which is scheduled to begin the same day.

FFXIV 5.5 adds new main scenario quests split into two parts that will pave the way for Endwalkers, and it's also bringing the final chapter to the YoRha: Dark Apocalypse raid.

Save the Queen and Sorrow of Werlyt both receive new updates, and there's a new dungeon, Paglth'an, opening up that players can tackle with other adventurers or with NPCs via the Trust system.

Crafters are getting new tools and rewards, while musicians can change instruments at any point during their performance in FFXIV 5.5 without interruption.

Finally, Final Fantasy XIV 5.5 introduces two new trials. One pits teams of level 80 heroes against an enhanced primal enemy for a chance to earn new rewards, and The Cloud Deck trial adds the fearsome Diamond Weapon battle for Normal and Extreme difficulties.

Final Fantasy XIV's PlayStation 5 beta kicks off April 13, featuring improved frame rates and load times among other things. PlayStation 4 players with a copy of FFXIV and an active FFXIV account may download the PS5 version for free once the beta begins.

The full PS5 version will be available immediately following the beta's end, though there's no set date for that yet.

Final Fantasy Showcase Reveals FFXIV 6.0 Endwalkers https://www.gameskinny.com/mutfg/final-fantasy-showcase-reveals-ffxiv-60-endwalkers https://www.gameskinny.com/mutfg/final-fantasy-showcase-reveals-ffxiv-60-endwalkers Sat, 06 Feb 2021 12:03:41 -0500 Josh Broadwell

2021's first Final Fantasy XIV announcement showcase unveiled Final Fantasy XIV Endwalker, which is FFXIV's 6.0 update. It's set to release in fall 2021 for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5. There will also be a PS5 beta scheduled on April 13 coinciding with patch 5.5.

FFXIV Endwalker sees the Warrior of Light (aka you) travel to the moon with Alphinaud and Alisaie in a dramatic conclusion to the story of Hydaelyn and Zodiark begun in A Realm Reborn.

It's not the end of FFXIV, though. Producer Naoki Yoshida said the team is already planning the game's 6.1 update, which will feature the first fully brand-new story since Heavensward.

Two new FFXIV classes headline Endwalker's bigger updates.

First up is Sage, a healer class wielding magic-infused knives. There's no class requirement for Sage, though players will need to be Level 70 and, obviously, own Endwalker. The second is a melee job, though the showcase didn't have anything to say about that one yet.

FFXIV 6.0 introduces several new locales to visit, including the lush tropical city of Radz-At-Han and the Garlean imperial capital of Garlemald.

Construction in the residential area of Ishguard is finally complete — though not open until 6.1 — and the Golden Saucer is getting some new, as-yet-unknown updates.

Endwalker's Island Sanctuary brings a bit of Stardew Valley to Final Fantasy XIV, tasking players with transforming a desert area into a thriving farm.

Endwalker also includes some of the typical additions that come with new expansions. The level cap is increased, this time to 90, there's a new raid called Pandaemonium with its own separate story, new PvP elements, and a new alliance raid. Unlike previous raids, this one revolves around remaining in-game mysteries instead of crossovers. And finally, there's a new tribe, the Arkasodara, and a new enemy type in the FFX-adjacent Anima.

If you've still not taken the plunge into Final Fantasy XIV, Square Enix expanded the game's free trial to include almost the entirety of the first two story arcs, which is well over 100 hours of gameplay.

FFXIV Botany Collectables Guide https://www.gameskinny.com/imw2f/ffxiv-botany-collectables-guide https://www.gameskinny.com/imw2f/ffxiv-botany-collectables-guide Sat, 30 Jan 2021 17:24:05 -0500 Ashley Shankle

Final Fantasy XIV's collectables for botanists are some of the easiest EXP you can rake in, and the same can be said for mining. Not only are they great for XP, but they're also a mostly painless way to bring in Yellow and later White Gatherer's Scrips.

Collectables don't open up until level 50, with your efforts starting in Mor Dhona at the Collectable Appraiser NPC. There you'll be able to see which collectables you are eligible to turn in for now, but you'll have to hunt them down yourself if you want to turn them in.

Gathering collectables is a separate minigame on its own that is easily to follow and understand, though it is particularly GP-intensive. Be sure you have Cordials or Hi-cordials on-hand if you are aiming to farm collectables to ensure the best yields.

In this guide, we touch on the minimum Collectability required for the Collectable Appraiser to accept an item. Note that the maximum is always 1000, and it is the requirement for the maximum amount of scrips included in the tables below.

As with regular timed nodes, it's in your best interest to set timers via the /alarm function. All of these nodes are available twice a day, for two hours each time. The times shown are Eorzean Time (ET).

Listed below the collectable name and above the time periods these items are available is the nearest Aetheryte, for shorter travel times.

Provided you have Truth of the Forest enabled, you will be notified of these nodes when you enter an area as botanist or miner (enable Truth of the Forest for cross-class in the Actions & Traits menu under Additional).

FFXIV Botany Timed Node Guide https://www.gameskinny.com/wu9bk/ffxiv-botany-timed-node-guide https://www.gameskinny.com/wu9bk/ffxiv-botany-timed-node-guide Sat, 30 Jan 2021 17:23:42 -0500 Ashley Shankle

Every Final Fantasy XIV gatherer needs to familiarize themselves with timed nodes to make the most of their efforts and feed their crafting classes, and timed botany and mining nodes are more common than a new gatherer might expect.

In this guide we're going to cover the lot of timed nodes for botanists, separated by expansion (level range) for clarity. That said, this guide does not go over collectables. These are instead covered in our FFXIV botany collectables guide.

The times shown are Eorzean Time (ET), meaning they reflect the time of day in-game.

If you have not set your HUD to display Eorzean Time yet, go into your Character Configuration menu and choose UI Settings, then click HUD. You'll find Clock Type a bit down.

Once checked, your HUD will show both local and Eorzean time.

Don't Forget to Set Alarms!

The gatherer's best friend is FFXIV's /alarm function, which can be used by typing /alarm into the in-game textbox and hitting the Enter key. From there you'll be able to set single-time or recurring alarms to aid your gathering.

FFXIV A Realm Reborn Botany Timed Nodes

The first timed nodes are level 50, but you should be able to attempt to gather them at level 46.

These nodes spawn once per day and are up for three hours.

Gathering collectables is a valuable source of EXP to the leveling miner or botanist in Final Fantasy XIV, and the primary method of gaining Yellow and White Gatherer's Scrips. Seeking out collectables is well-worth the minimal hassle.

In this guide. we're going to go over miner collectables, with the collectable system opening up at level 50 for new miners and botanists. Your efforts with this system will start in Mor Dhona, with the Collectable Appraiser NPC.

Like other sorts of timed nodes, collectables can mostly only be obtained at certain times of day (in Eorzean Time, or ET). You'll want to make friends with the /alarm function to set timers for nodes you would like to collect, so you don't have to stare at the clock while you wait.

Collecting is itself a relatively easy minigame, but it can be GP-intensive. Be sure to bring along Cordials and Hi-cordials if you are on the hunt for collectables specifically or a mix between them and other timed mining nodes, so you can stay on top of your efforts.

In the tables below, the minimum Collectability at which a Collectable Appraiser will accept the items is listed, along with the number of scrips you'll be granted if you turn them in at maximum (1000) Collectability.

Underneath the names of the collectables below are the closest Aetherytes for you to teleport to, as well as the spawn times. Collectables spawn twice a day for two hours at a time, 12 hours apart.

Provided you have Truth of the Mountains enabled, you will be notified of these nodes when you enter an area as miner or botanist (enable Truth of the Mountains for cross-class in the Actions & Traits menu under Additional).

Hopefully this guide will help my fellow miners have an easier time getting Yellow and White Gatherer's Scrips. If you found this guide helpful, we have a nearly identical botany collectables guide, as well as separate guides on mining, timed nodes and botany timed nodes.

FFXIV Mining Timed Node Guide https://www.gameskinny.com/du81e/ffxiv-mining-timed-node-guide https://www.gameskinny.com/du81e/ffxiv-mining-timed-node-guide Sat, 30 Jan 2021 17:20:56 -0500 Ashley Shankle

Timed gathering nodes are more common than new miners and botanists might expect, with many of Final Fantasy XIV's most valuable raw materials only being available at one node at set times of day.

The aim of this guide is simply to present all of the timed mining nodes to peruse and take note of, should you not want to use a timer website. However, it does not go over gathering collectibles. We go over that in our FFXIV mining collectibles guide.

All times are based on Eorzean Time (ET). You can view Eorzean Time simultaneously with real-time in-game in the UI by going to the Character Configuration menu, choosing UI Settings, and then HUD.

Once checked, both your local time and Eorzean time will show on your HUD.

Set Alarms!

You'll want to get cozy with the game's alarm function to take advantage of these mining nodes, which can be accessed by entering /alarm into the text box and hitting Enter in-game.

FFXIV A Realm Reborn Mining Timed Nodes

The first timed nodes are level 50, but you should be able to attempt to gather them at level 46.

These nodes spawn once per day and are up for three hours.

FFXIV Bozja Forgotten Fragment Locations Guide https://www.gameskinny.com/pmpn5/ffxiv-bozja-forgotten-fragment-locations-guide https://www.gameskinny.com/pmpn5/ffxiv-bozja-forgotten-fragment-locations-guide Tue, 27 Oct 2020 13:52:23 -0400 Ashley Shankle

Success in FFXIV's new Bozja zone doesn't just boil down to your Resistance Rank or how many Critical Engagements you join. The Lost Actions you have available and equipped are imperative to surviving and thriving on the battlefield.

To add more Lost Actions to your repertoire, you need to get Forgotten Fragments and take them back to a Resistance Appraiser to be appraised, after which you can go to a Lost Finds Cache to add them to your Lost Finds Holster.

It's recommended you set keys for Duty Actions if you haven't already as you'll likely need to use Bozja's Lost Actions and items in a pinch. You can do this by:

  1. Open the system menu
  2. Click 'Keybind'
  3. Click 'Hotbar'
  4. Scroll all the way down to Duty Actions I and Duty Actions II to set binds

Forgotten Fragments, aside from the early rank ones, have to be obtained through slaying certain enemies, taking part in FATEs in specified parts of the map, or gotten in Castrum Lacus Litori.

In this guide, we're going to go over each type of Forgotten Fragment and where / how you can get them for yourself and add to your Lost Action repertoire.

We've separated the fragments by the Bozjan zone they can be obtained, as the second and third zones are unlocked by raising your rank and completing the requisite quests. The zones are marked on the map below for reference, though Castrum is not.

Note: S rank mobs are marked with a star next to their nameplate, as seen below.

Though you don't have to participate in the Bozjan resistance effort to get your relic weapon, you do have to duke it out and even do Castrum Lacus Litori to get the zone's exclusive mounts, minions, and other items.

The Bozjan front is one of the most unique additions to FFXIV in ages, and takes far less effort than any of the Eureka grind. Check out our other Final Fantasy XIV guides here on GameSkinny.

Final Fantasy XIV Expanded Free Trial Makes Heavensword Free https://www.gameskinny.com/prhkz/final-fantasy-xiv-expanded-free-trial-makes-heavensword-free https://www.gameskinny.com/prhkz/final-fantasy-xiv-expanded-free-trial-makes-heavensword-free Wed, 22 Jul 2020 13:38:16 -0400 Josh Broadwell

Square Enix recently announced it's sweetening the pot for anyone who's been holding off on Final Fantasy XIV. Starting August 11, the Final Fantasy XIV free trial is getting a significant expansion — all the way up through the end of Heavensword.

Previously, the FFXIV free trial only included the base game, until you leveled up to Level 35. With the FFXIV expanded free trial, you can play up to Level 60. That includes almost all of Heavensword, up to FFXIV patch 3.56, which is Heavensword's endgame.

It also means players can unlock and play as Heavensword's locked jobs: Astrologian, Machinist, and Dark Knight.

And just like with the original free trial, this expanded version is for PlayStation 4 and PC.

Note you'll still need a copy of FFXIV to get started. The free part is not having to pay the usual monthly subscription to access the game. If you already have the A Realm Reborn Starter Edition, then Heavensword gets added to your game for free.

Square Enix didn't say anything about limited features for free trial users. Presumably, these would be the same as the base trial, though: things like no access to the Lodestone or forums, being locked to one character per homeworld, and so on.

The FFXIV expanded free trial coincides with the long-awaited Reflections in Crystal 5.3 patch set which will bring Shadowbringers to a close. Stay tuned to GameSkinny for more Final Fantasy XIV news as it develops.

Square Enix E3 2019 Recap: FFVII Remake, Marvel's Avengers Just the Beginning https://www.gameskinny.com/vuxc0/square-enix-e3-2019-recap-ffvii-remake-marvels-avengers-just-the-beginning https://www.gameskinny.com/vuxc0/square-enix-e3-2019-recap-ffvii-remake-marvels-avengers-just-the-beginning Mon, 10 Jun 2019 23:08:44 -0400 Josh Broadwell

E3 2019's running joke is that this presentation is really and truly for the gamers/players/consumers. But Square Enix's E3 2019 presentation might just have fulfilled that promise.

SE packed a ton of content into 90 minutes, from a much-needed update on Final Fantasy VII Remake to new games like Outriders, updates on smaller titles, and finally, Marvel's Avengers. Let's get started.

Final Fantasy VII Remake

Much to no one's surprise, the Square Enix E3 presentation began with Final Fantasy VII Remake, showing off a brief clip of the game's opening. Yoshinori Kitase, the game's producer, took the stage and thanked fans for their patience before describing how the title will delve much, much deeper into the characters and worlds — two Blu-Ray discs' worth of deep, in fact.

The first disc is all about Midgar, which has been expanded enough to be a standalone game on its own.

The game is also meant as a starting point for the world of FFVII, welcoming newcomers as well.

The game features a hybrid system with real-time action and strategic time-based attacks. Cloud can swing, attack, and block at the same time, but it isn't a  hack n' slash game. The ATB bar makes its return and fills up over time; the fill-up speed quickens when Cloud lands standard attacks. When it's full, Cloud enters tactical mode which lets him take advantage of powerful, special attacks like Cloud's breaker attack, in a way not dissimilar to Xenoblade Chronicles 2.

Cloud can also use ATB to cast spells depending on equipment and Materia he has on hand.

Barret's abilities are completely different, making more use of his gun-arm, but still relying on the core mechanic of the ATB system. Switching between party members is done with the press of a button, and while other party members continue to act on their own, the player can issue commands to other characters if their ATB bar is full.

As for Tifa? Kitase said players will be able to see her debut sometime soon, then proceeded to show off an extended version of the new FFVII Remake trailer with Tifa's debut.

Players have the option to choose abilities from shortcuts if they want a more action-based experience, or from a menu that lets players pause and take their time like they would in a traditional turn-based game.

Viewers got a chance to see combat in action with an extended look at the Scorpion Sentinel fight, which fulfilled SE's promise that the game isn't a straight button-masher; Cloud and Barret had to make use of coordinated attacks, find cover, and alternate between basic and special attacks on the fly in what looked like a cross between a fantastic RPG set piece fight and something out of an action movie.

Pre-orders are open now and, of course, there's a special edition with a lovely Sephiroth steelbook players can nab should they so desire.

Life is Strange 2

Next up was Life is Strange 2. The much-anticipated sequel follows the story of Daniel and his special powers, plus how he handles those powers once he must face his father's death. It's colorful. It's intense. It's available now, with a launch trailer focused on people's reactions to the rollercoaster of a story so far.

The game released in fall of last year.

Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition

After a long wait, we also got to see more of Final Fantasy: Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition, coming this winter for PS4, Switch, Android, and iOS. It's looking lovely.

The Last Remnant Remastered

The Last Remnant Remastered got a (very) short new trailer showing off its combat — and a surprise immediate launch for the Switch.

Dragon Quest Builders 2

As promised, Dragon Quest Builders 2 was shown off as well in a lengthy story trailer highlighting some snazzy cinematics and gameplay basics. It gave viewers a look at some of the many things they could look forward to creating, including massive temples, new resources, enslaved...er, recruited NPCs, and a ton of new environments. Oh, and the Builder can swim without dying this time, too.

Farming plays a significant role in DQ Builders 2, with players having the ability to grow a variety of crops they can use for ingredients. Vast farmlands are brought to you by the huge locations made available in the game as well.

Combat looks to be roughly the same this time around, though Malroth accompanies the player on his or her journey, lending a hand in tough fights. Should players desire to team up with others, that's possible in a seemingly expansive multiplayer mode that lets players work together to explore and build whatever they set their hearts on.

Those who want a taste of the action soon can sample a demo on the PlayStation Store and Nintendo eShop starting June 27.

Square Enix Collective and Circuit Superstars

Square Enix Collective, SE's indie publishing platform, took the stage next, with a sizzle reel of some of the group's more notable hits in recent years before giving a glimpse of what's coming in 2020 — Circuit Superstars, a motorsport game mixing classic arcade style with modern looks and features.

Battalion 1944

Battallion 1944 finally got some attention, too, with a new trailer showing off a plethora of modes, including a capture the flag mode, one-on-one, and plenty of competitive options.

Ranking up and dominating the leaderboards awards players with accomplishments and cosmetic rewards, along with the pleasure of outranking friends on the boards. After a long journey, the game is available now on Steam.

Kingdom Hearts III: ReMind

Kingdom Hearts III's new DLC, ReMind, also got a bit more time after its announcement a few days ago, showing off some of the basic plot, more Xehanort, and the fact that Organization XIII is still very much alive — er, however alive someone who never existed could be.

Final Fantasy XIV: Shadowbringers

Square Enix also took some time to give players a look at Final Fantasy XIV's third expansion, Shadowbringers, set for a July 2 launch. Shadowbringers is being presented as a brand-new game, with enough content and material to let it act as a standalone title, not just a simple expansion, offering many new mechanics, jobs, and races.

More importantly, Shadowbringers got its first launch trailer, detailing some of the overarching plot elements, teasing combat and locations players can expect to encounter, and showing off some of that sweet, sweet soundtrack.

Dying Light 2

Of course, no modern video game expo presentation is complete without zombies, which Square Enix provided in the form of a trailer for the first-person action-survival game Dying Light 2. It's not tremendously different from yesterday's Xbox presentation trailer, but for those who missed it, here it is.

Romancing SaGa 3 and SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions

In a big surprise for classic RPG fans, SE also announced Romancing SaGa 3 will be coming West for the first time, with its branching storyline based on player choice that promises a new story every time.

On top of that, SaGa: Scarlet Grace Ambitions is also coming West, this one a 3D RPG emphasizing tactical combat and, of course, player choice. RS3 will be available on all modern platforms, even the Vita, while Scarlet Grace is coming to PS4, Switch, iOS, Android, and Steam.

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius

Final Fantasy Brave Exvius wasn't left out in the cold either. It's getting a sequel, War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius. As was shown in its initial trailer, the sequel involves a multitude of countries, the warlike Leonis, Hourne the peaceful country, Fennes the Barbarian nation, Wezette with its icy tyrant, and the religious center Crystal Sanctum, all of which are at war with one another. It's only in development as of now, with no word on when fans can expect to see it.

Outriders

Outriders, from the minds behind Gears of War, got a brief cinematic trailer giving an overview of some basic tenets. It's a gritty combat game with plenty of guns, robots, and orange.

For now, Outriders has a tentative summer 2020 release date for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The People Can Fly studio director promised more to come this winter, though.

Oninaki

That's a lot to show off, but there was yet more to reveal.

Fans finally got a good look at Tokyo RPG Factory's upcoming Oninaki, first announced in February. The trailer Boasted updated visuals and a substantial bit of world-building. Oninaki is all about reincarnation and how one's emotions and choices in life affect their rebirth and the spirits who watch over the world. Oh, and hitting things with swords a lot — it's about that too.

Oninaki launches August 22 in the West.

Final Fantasy VIII Remastered

Poor Final Fantasy VIII, lost and forgotten in all the remakes and remasters of recent years, at last got the attention it deserves, and just in time for its 20th anniversary to boot.

Granted, we only got a cinematic trailer and that lovely, dramatic soundtrack, but it's coming. Final Fantasy VIII Remastered is coming later this year, in fact, to Steam, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.

Marvel's Avengers

Another long-awaited and hitherto under-wraps project got its time in the sun as well: Marvel's Avengers. It's a gorgeous homage to the franchise and everything Marvel, with intense fights playing out over San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge before transitioning to a dystopian world where the Avengers are cast as the villains.

Now they must fight back against their unknown foes and restore both their reputations and the world.

The dev team is planning regular content updates and an expansive online multiplayer component as well. All new regions and superheroes added to the game will be free for those who already own the game — no random loot boxes, no pay-to-win. It will launch on Stadia, Xbox One, PS4, and Steam, with PS4 players getting early access and some special benefits.

Marvel's Avengers will launch May 15, 2020.
