The main Halloween event for MMEG is Trick Or Dark Glyph, which gives you immediate access to a random new dark glyph when you summon 150 creatures of 2 stars or higher.

The fastest way to farm that many 2 stars is to get epic fragments in the arena on Silver or higher, or to complete achievements in the Shattered Islands for seals and just buy epic stones directly with the discounted 3 or 9 stone packs.

Next up, the weekly assignment running through Sunday the 28th is Halloween themed and tasks you with destroying skeleton warriors. The most efficient place to farm these creatures in Tower Of Trials stage 12, where you can get 6 at a time for only 5 energy.

For my family, October is all about the frights. It's nothing but Outlast, Call Of Cthulhu, Costume Quest for the little one, and a horde of horror flicks. When we're done binge-watching the latest Netflix horror series, it's time to dim the lights, pull out the controllers, and start screaming.

\n

You don't have to love scary games to get into the Halloween action though, as MMORPGs, freemium mobile games, and AAA shooters are all kicking off special spooky events.

\n

Here we've rounded up 11 of the most anticipated Halloween events currently going (or coming soon) this year to add a creepy vibe to your favorite games!

Hole.io Serial Killer Guide https://www.gameskinny.com/0m2t8/holeio-serial-killer-guide https://www.gameskinny.com/0m2t8/holeio-serial-killer-guide Fri, 27 Jul 2018 14:59:38 -0400 Ty Arthur

For such a simple game, the mobile smash hit Hole.io has a surprising level of strategy for those players who want to constantly get the highest scores.

If you want to become a "serial killer" and get a 1st place win every single time, you need to learn the map and figure out the best spots to quickly farm large numbers of objects. Let's get started!

Hole.io Serial Killer 1st Place Win Guide

Your starting position changes in each match, so once you know the layout it isn't hard to always get a 1st place win by strategically moving. You also need to memorize when you are large enough with each size increase to start taking down the larger objects instantly, instead of having to wait for a few seconds for the object to be swallowed.

To start each match, always follow the sidewalk (picking up the light poles, people, sewer entrances, hydrants, etc.) on your way to the park, which is often to your left of the starting position. The park is typically above a string of thin buildings with fire escapes and below a large single white building that looks like a bank.

Follow a square pattern across the interior section of the park to maximize your pick ups, then move in a square pattern around the outer edge of the park to take down the brick fencing. By the end of the park, you should be large enough to swallow cars, which are your immediate next order of business.

If the park you went to has a parking lot to the south or west, swallow all those vehicles in a line. Otherwise, move to the nearest road and stand next to the car spawn point to have them all fall into you with minimal effort.

By this point, you are big enough to swallow small buildings that are all clumped together on the street. They look too big to swallow on first glance, but are actually composed of dozens of small units that can each by eaten just by moving slowly up the street.

Swallowing clumps of small buildings clustered together on the street.

By the end of the block, you should be big enough to swallow the skinny buildings without having to slow down.

At this segment of the game (usually around 60 second remaining), no other player will be big enough to challenge you, so move in a pattern across the map grabbing every building and car in large clumps.

Don't bother chasing after anything that's moving away (like a fleeing player) unless they are very close, because you will get more points sticking to the square patterns grabbing the stationary buildings. Keep moving across the map until you've swallowed in an area and then move onto the next section.

During this end game section, your only real hazard is getting stuck trying to go down smaller sections (like the docks area) where you will be too big. Avoid those small side streets and stick to the big open areas with plenty of buildings.

Following this strategy, you will get a first place Hole.io serial killer win every single match. Once you have the method learned, from there you can start branching out and trying different patterns to unlock new skins.

For instance, if you eat 75 buildings in a single match you get a new skin, or if you swallow three enemy players in a row you unlock a different skin. Try going down different streets or eating different objects to unlock all the skins once you know the map layout well enough to consistently win.

Have fun serial killing your way to 1st place!

Do you have any other Hole.io serial killer tips to get a 1st place win every single game? Let us know your strategy below, and be sure to leave a comment with your favorite unlocked skin!

Hole.io Cheats And Tips For The Beginner https://www.gameskinny.com/9bw8f/holeio-cheats-and-tips-for-the-beginner https://www.gameskinny.com/9bw8f/holeio-cheats-and-tips-for-the-beginner Mon, 18 Jun 2018 14:17:59 -0400 Ty Arthur

Another .io game? Yeah, they are a dime a dozen, but Hole.io puts a bit of a twist on it - its Slither.io meets Katamari Damacy in this city-swallowing time waster that can become quite addicting!

Your goal is to get the biggest hole and swallow everything in the city before your opponents, so the faster you eat everything in sight, the more likely you are able to hit that 1st place ranking.

For those just getting started, its easy to lose momentum and constantly get swallowed by the faster players who know the best Hole.io tips and tricks already. Ready on for a full guide on how to consistently make it to the top spot!

Learning The Hole.io Map

Every single object on the map can be consumed, so long as you are large enough to swallow it. Your goal at the early stage of the game is to grab as many small objects as possible to get larger at a faster rate than the competition.

How do you do that? Stick to areas where lots of small objects are clustered together. A sidewalk lined with street lamps or other such objects is great for quickly chowing down on a ton of points in a few seconds.

Who gets the most points fastest at the beginning will have a huge impact on the hole.io late game, so you don't want to waste your time chasing after single objects or people.

If an area only has a handful of objects you can swallow, move through the buildings as a shortcut (you can freely slide through them instead of following the streets) and find a new area.

The absolute best early game location is any park! These are packed with people and objects in a tiny space. Grab the fences around the park, then move in a square pattern to quickly grab up the trees, buildings, people, light poles, and anything else that's standing there!

Using Car Spawn Points

Once your hole is large enough to swallow cars, one of the best Hole.io strategies is to simply park yourself on a busy street at a car spawn point.

You can chase them down if they get away, but if you are close enough to a spawn point, cars will simply come to you on both sides of the street and automatically fall in, very quickly netting you a huge score boost.

When you get large enough from this strategy, eventually buildings and other holes will become your best source of points to keep growing. Swallowing other players gives a big boost (and knocks them out of the running for a short time so they aren't competing for resources).

Hole.io Android Scam

Everybody wants to play the Hole.io android version, but sadly the real one doesn't exist yet at this point.

However, if you search Hole.io in the Google Play Store, you'll notice a suspicious string of apps that are all spelled slightly differently yet seem to feature the Hole.io imagery...

You'll notice that none of them are actually by Hole.io developer Voodoo, and they all seem to have oddly low ratings. That's because they are copy and paste scams where someone took the images from the game and slapped it into a quick app that does nothing but show ads or try to get you to input your personal information.

You will get endless activation codes that never do anything and never actually be able to play the real Hole.io game. Avoid these like the plague!

That's all you need to know to get started becoming a Hole.io champ! What's your favorite hole.io tactic or best location to rack up points quickly? Let us know your strategy in the comments below!
