The weekly free deals on the Epic Games Store just keep coming, and this week's bundle is a doozy.

The Batman: Arkham Collection and Lego Batman trilogy are both free until September 26. Both bundles bring a total of six free games to your growing EGS library.

Both complementary collections are available for $0.

Those interested in snagging the complimentary titles can simply sign up for or log into an Epic Games account, find the games at the top of the store's front page, and add them to their library.

All free games downloaded to a user's library remain in that library for the lifetime of the account.

Batman: Arkham Collection

The Arkham collection includes:

If it seems like "Arkham Knight" and "free" have been bundled together elsewhere recently, it's because the game is also one of this month's free PS Plus games. Yes, it's that good.

In fact, the whole trilogy is that good. The Arkham games are credited with reviving the Batman video game franchise, giving players more of what they love about the Caped Crusader: fast cars, pulse-pounding fights, and, of course, excellent villains like the Joker.

What's more, these are the Game of the Year Editions of each game. That means Arkham Asylum and Arkham City get all their DLC bundled together, but Arkham Knight doesn't, since its DLC isn't on the EGS right now.

Still, think of it as some kind of consolation for Arkham Crisis not actually being real after all.

LEGO Batman Trilogy

In case the Arkham Collection isn't enough, the LEGO Batman Trilogy offers even more superhero action with a lighthearted twist. It includes:

These three feature all the goofiness LEGO games are known and loved for, alongside plenty of collectibles, tons of unlockable characters spread across the DC universe, gadgets, vehicles, aliens, and more.

From LEGO Batman 2 on, the Lego characters even speak, which was a first for the LEGO games franchise.

---

Despite being listed as collections, each game in both trilogies is available for free individually until September 26, so you don't have to pick them all up if you for some reason don't want to.

The Epic Games Store is on a roll the past few months with its free game offerings. A recent set included two of the most well-regarded indie releases in recent years.

Honorable Mention: South Park: The Stick of Truth

\n

Everything about South Park: The Stick of Truth was hilarious. I was laughing for days, but I felt it couldn't compare to some of the other scenes on this list. Considering the subject matter, it is also very subjective.

\n

It remains in the noble runner-up spot.

1. Deadpool

\n

I love Deadpool. I love Deadpool and would have been happy just posting a video of the entirety of the game. That would defeat the purpose of making this a list of scenes, though, wouldn't it? Thus, I stuck to Deadpool's origins and picked a moment where he really breaks the fourth wall.

\n

Deadpool's gone a bit over budget with his game and he is determined to have High Moon Studios give him more money. The usual antics ensue. Check out the NSFW video above to see how.

2. Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time

\n

Murray dancing as Madame Geisha killed me. Rioichi Cooper's clearly confused. Murray struts his stuff with impeccable dance moves and flirts with all of the boars. The music clearly fits into Feudal Japan. I was hysterical. It became very hard to focus on the buttons when I was too busy laughing at the level of ridiculousness.

3. Tales from the Borderlands

\n

There are plenty of killer comedic moments throughout the Borderlands franchise from the witty comments of Handsome Jack to the continuous sass from Claptrap. With the recent release of Episode 4: Escape Plan Bravo of Tales from the Borderlands, I couldn't help but include the crazy action scene that was finger-guns.

\n

I still don't understand how this scene was approved, but it was hilarious nonetheless and I was impressed. Click on the NSFW video to figure out exactly what goes down.

4. Portal 2

\n

If someone out there expected a turret opera at the end of Portal 2, please let me know. I definitely did a double-take. It was funny, unexpected, and even a tad bit creepy. How can you not laugh at the turrets that spent the whole game trying to kill you now singing at you? If only there was cake to go with it...

5. LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham Arrow DLC Pack

\n

Despite having so many installments, the LEGO franchise has continuously dished out hilarious scene after hilarious scene that appeals to a wide age range.

\n

The opening of the Arrow DLC pack for LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is my favorite, though. Not only does it satire the backstory for Arrow, it calls out the "continuity police." Even if you're unfamiliar with Arrow as a character, you can't help but laugh.

Some scenes are scary. Some scenes are depressing. Some scenes make you want to laugh until your sides hurt. Actually, there are quite a few scenes in games that make you want to laugh that hard. Here's five of them.

Bizarro World DLC Announced for Lego Batman 3 https://www.gameskinny.com/td2gn/bizarro-world-dlc-announced-for-lego-batman-3 https://www.gameskinny.com/td2gn/bizarro-world-dlc-announced-for-lego-batman-3 Mon, 01 Dec 2014 14:32:44 -0500 Pierre Fouquet

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is getting a new DLC pack called, "Bizarro World DLC". The focus of the DLC is to save Bizarro's home planet from some sort of DC type evil. However, there is a twist, you must first be hero enough to join the Bizarro League.

Bizarro who?

Bizarro is the a less than perfect clone of Superman. He possesses all of Superman's trade mark abilities, with a twist. Many of his powers are just mirrors of Superman's powers. Superman has frost breath and heat vision. Bizarro has fire breath and ice vision.

Bizarro attempted to clone the Justice League, thus forming The Bizarro League. He used a Duplicator Ray owned by Lex Luthor, but it did not go to plan. They are all imperfect clones. Another character who has been imperfectly cloned is Wonder Woman, or should I say Bizarra.

This is Bizarro, not Superman.

Heroines & Villainesses Pack

Alongside this paid DLC is some free DLC, this one will focus on female characters in the DC Comics world. Some of the announced characters are Starfire, Vixen, Plastique, and Killer Frost.

Raven doing her scary Raven tricks.

Season Pass holders for Lego Batman 3 will be glad to know that it will include the "Bizarro World DLC." Alternately you can buy it separately. This marks the 4th paid DLC for Lego Batman 3, there are just two more to go, to make it up to the six promised with the Season Pass. The "Heroines & Villainesses Pack" will be free.

Expect to see both DLCs in early 2015. Will you be ready to save another planet, Bizarros home planet, by then?

Amazon Still Offering Killer PS4 Bundles https://www.gameskinny.com/if54g/amazon-still-offering-killer-ps4-bundles https://www.gameskinny.com/if54g/amazon-still-offering-killer-ps4-bundles Sun, 30 Nov 2014 10:09:04 -0500 Benjamski

Amazon kicked off Black Friday with some pretty awesome PS4 bundles that ranged from the classy Glacier White PS4 bundled with Destiny for $399 or the classic black 500gb PS4 with the remastered versions of both GTA 5 and The Last of Us for just under $500.

The sales launched as Black Friday specials, but you can find all three PS4 bundles on Amazon still and the details for all three listed below.

  • Destiny bundled with 500GB Glacier White PS4 for $399
  • Lego Batman 3 and voucher for download of Little Big Planet 3 with 500GB Black PS4 for $399
  • GTA 5 and The Last of Us: Remastered  with 500GB Black PS4 for $495

They're all solid deals, especially if you were planning on getting any of those games anyway for your new console. The Destiny bundle and the GTA 5 and The Last of Us bundles are both at the very same price as just the PS4 by itself. If you were planning on buying a PS4 sometime soon, you'd be crazy to not pick up one these bundles and the free games that they come with.

Weekly Weekend Round-Up https://www.gameskinny.com/hfdqv/weekly-weekend-round-up https://www.gameskinny.com/hfdqv/weekly-weekend-round-up Thu, 13 Nov 2014 17:50:35 -0500 Eric Nicolai

Another week of work is behind us. That means it's time for another weekend of relaxation and gaming. This week has some highly anticipated games, none of which I will be playing. However, there is bound to be something on this list to meet most people's tastes.

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham

This title from Warner Brothers is sure to have enough content to fill a weekend. These games, although repetitive, never seem dull. They give the player enough to stay busy for a good amount of time. LEGO isn't really my forte, but this game surely has a spot on a lot of gamers' watchlists.

Halo: The Master Chief Collection

Halo MCC is another massive launch. This game was well worth the wait for most players that have an Xbox One. They can finally play on the Halo 2 servers again. They can also relive those awesome sticky grenade kills of all the Halo series, both online and off.

Assassin's Creed: Unity Rogue

Both these games are already a huge success. The Assassin's Creed series is able to put out a game every year. Each year they do it, players claim that the new game is the best in the series, and say it's so unreal how amazing the game is.

The games that launched this week are going to be more than enough to fill two days of down time. Personally, I am still going through Lords of The Fallen and loving every bit of it.

What will you be playing this weekend? Comment below!

GTA V PS4 Bundle & Family PS4 Bundle Coming to North America https://www.gameskinny.com/mswsb/gta-v-ps4-bundle-family-ps4-bundle-coming-to-north-america https://www.gameskinny.com/mswsb/gta-v-ps4-bundle-family-ps4-bundle-coming-to-north-america Mon, 10 Nov 2014 01:03:43 -0500 Adam Koziol

A leaked advertisement from American retailer Meijer has just revealed that Sony and Rockstar will be releasing a Grand Theft Auto V PlayStation 4 bundle in North America. NeoGAF member Wario64 found the ad and posted it on his twitter accountThe bundle was first announced in October but it was only confirmed to be coming to Europe. According to the Meijer ad, this Black Friday deal will cost $399.99. The bundle not only includes a PlayStation 4 and a copy of Grand Theft Auto V, it also includes a copy of The Last of Us Remastered.

Many North American fans were worried that the Grand Theft Auto V deal would never reach their shores. This was a reasonable fear. Earlier this year on July 29, Sony released a The Last of Us Remastered PlayStation 4 bundle in Europe but not in North America. Now it seems that Sony has combined both European bundles together for the North American holiday season.

The leaked advertisement also reveals that Sony is offering a holiday deal for its younger fans. The PlayStation 4 Family bundle will cost $399.99 as well but it will come with different games. Instead of offering M-rated titles, the Family bundle comes with Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham and Little Big Planet 3. This means that both system bundles include one first-party game and one third-party game.

Although there is no release date listed in the Meijer advertisement, it is likely that the deals will be made available in time for Black Friday on November 28. Grand Theft Auto V will release on PlayStation 4 alongside the Xbox One and PC versions on November 18. This current gen edition of the game includes improved visuals and a brand new first-person mode.

Which bundle would you be interested in buying? Leave your answer in the comments section below.

This weekend's New York Comic Con came with an abundance of new information about various games. One of the many games talked about was Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.

In Beyond Gotham, Batman travels leaves Earth to fight the enemy known as Brainiac. Batman does this with the help of several other characters, who were the main focus of the Lego Batman 3 panel at New York Comic Con. The creators of the game announced new characters that players can look forward to meeting in the third Lego Batman game.

These characters include: The Darkest Night, Man Bat, Condiment King, and Duck Dodgers as The Green Loontern.

Even more exciting reveals included Conan O'Brien as a character who will be "the guy who's helping you know what's where" in the game. Also Stephen Amell, the actor who currently plays Green Arrow on The CW show of the same name, will also lend his voice to the character in the game.

Also, in addition to three DLC packs already announced, (The Dark Knight Pack, Batman 75th Anniversary Pack, and The Man of Steel Pack), The Arrow Pack was revealed.

Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham releases for Xbox Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.

Coming this fall to all major consoles, handhelds, and PC is the next installment in the LEGO Batman franchise. LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham is coming and will see the Caped Crusader taking his fancy suits and wonderful toys up into space.

Following the events of DC Superheroes, Batman and Robin are sent off into the great void of space to stop Brainiac from destroying Earth. To accomplish this goal, Brainiac is using the power of the Lantern Rings to miniaturize worlds and place them in his shrunken city collection. It is up to Batman and a host of DC superheroes and villains to travel to the different Lantern Worlds and collect the Rings.

The game will feature over 150 unique, unlockable characters which (utilizing the system put in place by LEGO Marvel) includes extra big characters like Killer Croc and Solomon Grundy. You will visit and explore familiar locations like the Batcave, Hall of Justice and the Watchtower. There will also be new abilities and gadgets added into the mix. To throw us off a little bit, Brainiac's mind control and the power of the Lantern Rings bring unexpected twists to the characters' personalities. What this will bring to light is yet to be seen.

As a huge fan of the LEGO games in general, I cannot wait to get my hands on this title. These games are fun, cute, and the drop in drop out co-op is a huge plus for parents to play with their kids. Stay tuned for more information on LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham here on Gameskinny. Same Bat time, same Bat channel.
