One of the most important things to have in Sims 4 is money. Lots of it. Luckily, if you're wondering how to get more money in EA's life simulator, there are various ways of earning cash throughout the game. You can either wallow in Simoleons using cheat for unlimited funds or you can choose different career paths to earn relatively quick payouts in a legitimate manner.

With several career options in Sims 4, there are some jobs that can net you more money than others in a short period of time. To save you the trouble of testing these out for yourself, we’ve compiled the best Sims 4 careers for making money quickly.

Botanist wearing a brown hat while gardening.

Gardening can be an easy career choice for earning money in Sims 4. You can quickly harvest crops, water plants, and more.

Most importantly, though, you can plant money trees, which have their own rewards after fully blossoming. You can earn around $420 an hour while gardening.

Sims filming and acting on a medieval stage.

Getting acting gigs can help you make a significant amount of money in a short period of time. Although, you can only make money after you get selected in an audition or get hired.

There is flexibility in your schedule once you become an actor, but you can only do two to three gigs in a week. With that kind of work, you can expect to bring in around $14,475 per week.

Sim with pink hair sitting in front of a monitor.

Writing is a very interesting career option because writing a novel generally takes around four in-game hours and its payscale is a bit different than the others listed here.

A bestseller can bring in $200-800 per day for 20 daysYou could write for 2-3 days a week and the money will keep coming once you've published a book — and even if you've stopped writing. It's a great form of passive income.

Various Sim paintings.

When you first begin your career as a painter, you might earn a lesser amount of money than some of the other gigs available. However, once you master your craft, you can craft masterpieces that can go up to hundreds or thousands of dollars

There are many collectors in the art gallery looking for valuable paintings and offer a large amount of money to buy them.

Tech Guru

Sims wearing white headphones and esports jerseys sitting at computers.

Just as playing games and live streaming has become a lucrative career choice for many in the real world, so it is in Sims 4. You can earn around $516 an hour

In this career path, you can earn Simoleons by either entering esports tournaments and winning them, or just by streaming games. Of course, you'll need to build a fan base, and constantly entertain them, but that's par for the course.

And those are five of the best Sims 4 careers for making money fast without resorting to cheats. If you'd rather have infinite money and free up your days for other mundane tasks, check out our Sims 4 cheats guide linked at the top of this guide.

The Sims 4: How to Appease Every Gnome Fri, 23 Jul 2021 11:11:05 -0400 Serhii Patskan

If you have the Seasons expansion pack for The Sims 4, then you must be happy celebrating the HarvestFest day in the company of thirteen gnomes. But that would be the case only if you knew how to appease them properly. If you don't appease these gnomes the right way, they will crash your party like you've never seen before.

This guide will provide you with tips on how to appease every gnome in The Sims 4. This little event will require you to give some gifts to the gnomes that randomly appear in and out of your home, and you need to be sure that you're giving them the right things.

How to Appease Every Gnome in The Sims 4

The game doesn't tell you which gnomes are which before you appease them, so it's important to know how they look before you give them anything.

When gnomes are properly appeased, a bright halo will appear above their heads.

Happy Gnomiversary!

A gnome in a black suit smoking a cigar standing on a stool behind a gnome in a white suit smoking a cigar.

  • Best gift: Coffee

This festive gnome looks like he's holding a party horn in his mouth and a piece of cake in his hand.

Give him coffee and he won't break your things or strike you with an electric shock.

There's No Place Like Gnome

Three regular garden gnomes standing in front a fourth on a stool.

  • Best gift: Fruit Cake

This is the most normal-looking gnome of all, albeit a bit sad. You can use this gnome as a decor for your garden, and he will take his duties very seriously.

You can give him a fruit cake or coffee, and both should work.

Upside Down Gnome Decor

Four garden gnomes forming a ladder up and right.

  • Best gift: Salad

These happy gnomes hold special support plates in their hands, where you can place other gnomes. If you place other similar gnomes there, then you can stack them indefinitely.

But if you want to appease them, then salad would be the best choice.

Guardian of the Gnomelaxy

Three green gnomes with spiky green beards standing on a beach.

  • Best gift: Future Cube

This is one of the easiest gnomes to spot due to his unusual look, and his favorite thing is obviously a future cube. You can't miss this one!

Bearly Gnome

Three gnomes dressed as bears, one a panda, one a brown bear, one a polar bear.

  • Best gift: Pie

This gnome is another easy one, as it wears the bear costume, and clearly loves pies.

Also this gnome likes to stay outside, so don't keep him inside the house.

Happy Gnome Garden Pal

Four regular garden gnomes picking their beards up into smiles.

  • Best gift: Coffee

This cheerful gnome stretches his beard with his hands, thus showing how jolly and happy he is.

If you appease him well, he will provide you with some garden seeds.

Gnome Matter What, I'm Still Your Baby

Four garden gnomes with wide eyes, open mouths, and spread arms.

  • Best gift: Coffee

This gnome appears in a posture of begging for somebody to take him in their hands. Just like Happy Gnome, this one also likes coffee more than anything.

Don't Fear the Reagnomper

Four gnomes dressed as reapers with scythes.

  • Best gift: Pie

One of the most peculiar gnomes in the game looks like the Grim Reaper. Despite his wicked appearance, he likes a simple pie.

You can place him in a garden with plants that emit green gas or at the cemetery.

Mr. Floppy the Gnome

Four gnomes with floppy ears and bunny noses.

  • Best gift: Salad

If you've played during the Egg Hunt and Flower Bunny events, then this gnome should look familiar to you.

This is also one of those few gnomes that likes salad, just like bunnies.

The Ghastly Ghostly Gnome

six ghostly, transparent gnomes, one pink, one red, one blue, one green, one yellow, and one grey.

  • Best gift: Fruit Cake

The haunted house should have a haunted garden with ghostly gnomes. This one has a particular affection for fruit cakes.

Poolside Gnome

Four gnomes with pool caps, bathing suits, and floats.

  • Best gift: Pie

The only female gnome on the roster wears a swimsuit and a floaty. She can be a great decoration for your home pool. She also likes pie.

Strictly Business Gnome

Four gnomes dressed in business suits, one grey, one black, one beige, one brown.

  • Best gift: Coffee

A gnome in a business suite looks adorable, and he likes coffee, just like any businessman. This statue can be placed in your home office.

Bare Essentials Gnome

Four naked gnomes with their unmentionables censored.

  • Best gift: Toy

Naked pixelated gnomes are a weird sight, especially when they appear in your garden. But once you give them a toy to play, they will reward you with some season seeds.

That's everything you need to know on how to appease every gnome in The Sims 4. For more The Sims 4 tips and tricks articles, please visit our dedicated guides page.

The Sims 4: How to Study Opponents Fri, 23 Jul 2021 10:29:13 -0400 Serhii Patskan

The Sims 4 has a number of careers that players can choose to pursue to bring in some income. Each career has its own little quirks you've got to work with, some of which beyond just skill requirements. The Athlete is one, and it requires that you study opponents to get an edge over them if you go the Professional Athlete route.

This guide will provide you with tips on how to study opponents in The Sims 4, including both viable methods. You can use either or both depending on your situation, and since this is a daily task, you can switch between both of them.

How to Study Opponents in The Sims 4

Before you can study your opponents, you need to choose one of the following paths:

  • Bodybuilder
  • Professional Athlete

You need to choose the Pro Athlete career branch and Energized, as your ideal mood. Once these choices are made, you will be given a daily task to study your opponents. You can do this either through a TV or your computer.

If you're using the TV to study your opponents, then follow these steps:

  1. Turn on the TV
  2. Select "Study Opponents" option
  3. Wait for the study to complete

This process will take about two hours, which you can spend while training on a treadmill. In this case you need to put your TV set on a treadmill as well.

If you're using a computer to study your opponents, then follow these steps:

  1. Turn on your PC
  2. Go to the WEB option
  3. Select "Study Opponents" option
  4. Wait for the study to complete

The process is similar, and once it is completed you can choose either +2 to your Energized or Tense moods.

The goal of studying opponents is to earn promotions that grant the following rewards:

  • Minor League: $413, Sole Star Athletic Poster
  • Rookie: $537, New CAS Parts
  • Starter: $698, Llamacorns Team Photo
  • All-Star: $605, All-Star Trophy
  • MVP: $908, ZenXercise Treadmill
  • Hall of Famer: $1452, MVP Trophy

That's all you need to know on how to study opponents in The Sims 4. Check out more The Sims 4 tips and tricks articles on our dedicated hub page.

The Sims 4: Cottage Teaches Sims to Farm on July 22 Thu, 10 Jun 2021 14:06:10 -0400 Ashley Shankle

The Sims 4 is about to get its next expansion pack. EA has announced The Sims 4: Cottage Living, a DLC that adds a different sort of pace for players of Maxis' simulation game.

The Sims 4: Cottage Living is scheduled for release on July 22 and true to the "expansion" moniker over the "pack" one, it will include new features and locations. Notably, it will include foraging, growing crops, and even raising livestock such as cows, llama, and chickens for a variety of materials to both make meals or arts and crafts.

Producer Antonio Romeo claims the expansion will allow players to "live their garden-to-table lifestyle," and players will be able to place their Sims in a new cozy village named Henford-on-Bagley.

Those who play The Sims 4 on PC won't be ahead of those who choose to play it on console this time. The Sims 4: Cottage Living will release simultaneously on PC, Mac, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S this summer for $39.99 on each platform.

Are you looking forward to giving Cottage Living a go? Let us know in the comments below! It's definitely what I needed to get back into The Sims 4.

Get Spooked with The Sims 4 Paranormal Stuff Pack Wed, 13 Jan 2021 12:33:33 -0500 Josh Broadwell

The Sims 4 is getting a bit spookier thanks to the brand-new Sims 4 Paranormal Stuff Pack releasing January 26 for $9.99 on PC via Origin and Steam, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Sure, it's three months after the season of scares, but we'll never say no to new skills, designs, and homes for the immensely popular simulation game.

The Paranormal Stuff Pack adds new Haunted House lots complete with uninvited spectral roommates. Players can put up with the spooky shenanigans and even summon Bonehilda the maid to help with chores, but there's another option.

Gudry the Ghost appears when Sims hold a seance and helps players deal with ghosts through offerings, cleansings, and conversations with the dead, and when all else fails, Gudry can help kick the ghosts out for good.

Sims who want to get a bit closer to the dead can give Gudry a run for their money. The Sims 4's Paranormal Stuff Pack adds the Medium skill Sims can master to obtain their Paranormal Investigator License. Once properly certificated, paranormal investigators can help other Sims deal with ghouls in their own homes, which is okay because Gudry is dead and doesn't need a job anyway.

How to Change the Weather in The Sims 4 Fri, 11 Dec 2020 12:26:34 -0500 Ashley Shankle

Sometimes you just want to watch the world burn. Or get covered in a nice coat of snow. Provided you have the Seasons expansion pack for The Sims 4, you can change the weather, the season, and even the season's forecast. We're going to go over how to change the weather and more in this guide.

You need a certain piece of furniture to change the weather in The Sims 4, that being Dr. June's Weather Control Device.

How to Get Dr. June's Weather Control Device

Dr. June's Weather Control Device can be found in the Outdoor Activities section of Buy Mode, and costs $1,500 Simoleons. However, it is only available if you own the Seasons expansion pack.

How to Change the Weather in The Sims 4

Any Sim can use Dr. June's Weather Control Device and try to change the weather, but only particularly handy Sims can succeed at it regularly. Sims with low Handiness may fail at using the machine, and may sometimes be electrocuted.

You have to upgrade the machine to use it in full, and you need a Sim with the required Handiness level to use the upgrades.

The full list of upgrades to the device and the Handiness skill levels required are:

  • Climatic Hydrator — Increases the success rate of altering rainy and snowy weather. (Req. Handiness 2)
  • Gyroscope Durability — Dr. June's Weather Control Device will break less often. (Req. Handiness 2)
  • Humidity Chiller — Increases the success rate of altering cold and snowy weather. (Req. Handiness 2)
  • Moisture Vaporator — Increases the success rate of sky-clearing weather interactions. (Req. Handiness 2)
  • Capacitive Efficiency — Allows you to choose the appropriate weather for the season, increasing the chances of it appearing. (Req. Handiness 3)
  • Self-Repairing Nanites — Makes the machine impossible to break. (Req. Handiness 5)
  • Temporal Modifier Unit — Allows you to change the season. (Req. Handiness 8)

No cheats or anything needed! With all this in mind and a handy Sim, you can control your neighborhood's weather in all sorts of ways. If you found this guide useful, check out our other guides for The Sims 4.

How to Fix The Sims 4 'Script Call Failed' Error Thu, 19 Nov 2020 19:09:35 -0500 Hunter Boyce

The Sims: 4 Snowy Escape expansion has breathed new life into the simulation game that scores of fans have come to know and love. That being said, the "script call failed" error has also once again reared back its ugly head for many players attempting to enjoy the new content. The game has begun crashing after the recent update.

The "script call failed" error has been an issue for players that enjoy using unofficial mods in their games for some time now. Primarily, the issue is caused by new expansions rendering mods obsolete. The unfortunate result of this is that the Snowy Escape expansion is crashing for many of these players.

Hope is not lost, however. While this November 2020 expansion is causing games to keep crashing, there are a few fixes.

Repair Game Files

The first step to mending the "script call failed" error is to repair your game files. Luckily, this can be completed in just a few easy steps.

  • First, open the Origin client. From there, select the "My Game Library" option.
  • Right-click on The Sims 4 icon and then select "Repair" from the popup menu.
  • Restart your game and check to see if the error has been corrected.

One of the causes of the "script call failed" error is the game's inability to locate necessary files. Repairing the game files will ensure that every file is both operational and located where it should be. That being said, another large proponent of this error has to do with mods.

Consolidate Your Mods

If you are experiencing the "script call failed" error while using mods, then solving the bug is going to be a little more complicated. But, it can be done.

  • Back up your save files. As you will be adjusting your mods as needed, it is important to secure your original save.

  • Make sure all of your mods are updated. If your mods are incompatible with the recent expansion, the creators of the mods may be working on a patch to ensure their content functions with Snowy Escape. Always be on the lookout for new updates.

  • Consider deleting some of your mods. As new expansions are released for The Sims 4, many of the game's less updated unofficial mods become less and less stable. Simply disabling mods within the game's settings will not fix this issue, however. You will have to delete each mod or remove the mod folder entirely. If your mods have not been updated in a while, consider deleting some or all of them to alleviate the "script call failed" error.

  • Just because a mod has been recently updated, does not mean it will always function perfectly with The Sims 4. Check back on The Sims forums regularly to see if other players are reporting issues with any of the particular mods you are using.

  • If there are no reported issues concerning any of the mods you are using and you are still suffering the error, then you will have to begin removing mods individually and testing the game. As you remove each mod, attempt to recreate the "script call failed" error again. Once you stop receiving the error, you will have likely found which mod is causing your problems. Of course, multiple mods may be causing the issue. Consequently, it will take some trial and error before you can narrow down the buggy mods for sure.

Once you have repaired your game files and narrowed down which mods are interrupting your game, the "script call failed" error should be gone. That being said, getting your mods in working order is just the beginning.

EA Outlines Next-Gen Upgrades for Star Wars Squadrons, Sims 4, More Thu, 05 Nov 2020 16:48:12 -0500 Josh Broadwell

Star Wars Squadrons and a number of other EA games are getting next-gen enhancements for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, the publisher recently announced.

These enhancements run the gamut from visual improvements to full-on content expansions. Here's what to expect from each game.

Star Wars Squadrons Next-Gen Upgrades

Star Wars Squadrons on PS5 and XSX|S features improved lighting and will support up to 2160p at 60 FPS on the Xbox Series X and1440p at 60 FPS on the Xbox Series S. There's also a performance mode that prioritizes higher frame rates (120fps) over resolutions.

The PlayStation 5 version will feature improved lighting and runs at the same fps and resolution as Star Wars Squadrons on PlayStation 4 Pro.

Finally, there's a Variable Refresh Rate option added if the game is being played on a TV that supports that function.

Apex Legends Next-Gen Upgrades

Apex Legends' big Season 7 update already released, with new maps and a new Legend. On next-gen systems, the game gets an initial boost up to 1440p, with more changes planned for 2021, and Apex Legends crossplay will support all current- and next-gen platforms.

The Sims 4 Next-Gen Upgrades

The Sims 4 is getting its 10th expansion on November 13, Snowy Peak. The Sims 4 Snowy Peak introduces "a Japanese-inspired world" complete with onsen bathouses and meditation walks, along with plenty of wintery activities to keep restless Sims busy.

UFC 4, NHL  21, Madden NFL 21, FIFA 21, and Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit Next-Gen Upgrades

EA's sports games and the Need for Speed remake benefit from improved load times and frame rates. Otherwise, they'll run on:

  • Xbox Series X like they're on Xbox One X
  • Xbox Series S like they're on Xbox One S
  • PlayStation 5 like they're on PlayStation 4 Pro

EA notes competitive mode progress from NFL 21 will not transfer as part of Dual Entitlement, EA's version of Smart Delivery.

EA Investor Call Hints at Smart Delivery for PS5, Series X Games Wed, 06 May 2020 15:45:19 -0400 Josh Broadwell

The latest EA investor relations call was held recently. Among other things, the publisher announced it plans on offering a system similar to Xbox Smart Delivery, where current-gen games are upgraded for free to their next-gen PS5 and Series X counterparts.

These remarks come from EA Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer Blake Jorgensen, buried roughly near the end of the earnings report. Jorgensen said:

...this year the phasing [budget forecast] includes the effect of revenue recognition from the games we are launching for the current generation of consoles that can also be upgraded for free for the next generation.

How EA will implement this alleged upgrade remains to be seen, especially since Sony specifically hasn't been 100% clear on how PlayStation 5's backwards compatibility will work.

As EA Chief Executive Officer Andrew Wilson said, EA plans on releasing 14 new titles over the course of this fiscal year. These include games in the NHL, Madden, and FIFA franchises. No surprises there. But there's another, unannounced sports title EA plans to release as well.

EA also plans on having its sports arm lead the company into next-gen, which basically means look forward to next-gen sports games from EA within the first year of PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X launching.

On top of that, Wilson said EA's indie partners have a number of games in store. There are four other games in the works for console and PC from EA, too, including Command and Conquer. Wilson also mentioned two mobile titles.

You can check out a PDF of the earnings call transcript from EA's website if you're interested. Stay tuned to GameSkinny for more next-gen console news as it develops, including tomorrow's first look at Xbox Series X gameplay as part of the Summer Game Fest.

Snag 3 Awesome (and Free) PS Plus Games for February Wed, 29 Jan 2020 16:47:28 -0500 Josh Broadwell

It's almost February, which means it's just about time for the latest round of PS Plus free games. From February 4 through March 2, Sony's offering three free games for PS Plus members to download: BioShock: The Collection, The Sims 4, and Firewall Zero Hour, the last of which is a PlayStation VR title.

As usual, these free PS Plus games stay on your system after the month they're made available, until your PS Plus subscription ends.

BioShock: The Collection

BioShock: The Collection includes all single-player BioShock games and DLC in one convenient package. Or, if you want it listed out, it includes:

  • BioShock
  • BioShock 2
  • BioShock Infinite
  • The Columbia's Finest pack, among others

They're all remastered in 1080p and all very good indeed, so getting them for free like this is quite a value.

The Sims 4

The Sims 4 has everything you love about The Sims, adds extensive interaction and building options, then cranks everything up to 100. It's a wild game that's sure to take over your life for a long time.

Note that this is just the base Sims 4 game and doesn't include last year's big Island Living expansion. Still, there's enough content in just the base game, and what better way to celebrate the franchise's 20th anniversary than playing it for free?

Firewall Zero Hour

Firewall Zero Hour is a PSVR exclusive title that's also getting some content expansions in February. Convenient the base game's free now, eh?

Anyway, it's a 4v4 tactical shooter that tasks you with obtaining or protecting secret and highly sensitive information. Obviously, these intense battles are designed to be multiplayer, so you'll want to hop online with some friends to get started.

Again, these will be available starting February 5, so you've still got a bit more time to download January's free PS Plus titles. Stay tuned to GameSkinny for more PS Plus news as it bounces our way.

How to Become a Witch in The Sims 4: Realm of Magic Thu, 12 Sep 2019 11:38:32 -0400 Serhii Patskan

The latest content update for The Sims 4, titled Realm of Magic, is out now, and it introduces a brand-new set of spellcasting abilities for your characters. However, not everyone can become a witch in The Sims 4, as this ability can only be acquired by teens, young adults, adults, and elders.

Also, the process of becoming a spellcaster may seem a bit daunting to new players. That's why you can save your time by following a simple step-by-step guide on how to become a witch below.

Step 1: Speak to a Sage in Magic HQ

In order to get to Magic headquarters in The Sims 4, you need to travel through a portal located at the waterfall on the edge of the new Glimmerbrook town.

When you arrive at the Magic HQ, you need to find a sage. There are three of them in the headquarters:

  • Simeon Silversweater: Sage of Practical Magic
  • L. Faba: Sage of Mischief Magic
  • Morgyn Ember: Sage of Untamed Magic

It doesn't matter who you speak to first, as all of them are capable of turning your character into a witch. When you find one of them, follow these steps:

  1. Start a conversation
  2. Introduce yourself
  3. Click on "Friendly Interactions"
  4. Choose "Ask How to Use Magic"

Step 2: Collect Magical Orbs

As a result of your conversation with one of the sages, you will be given a task to collect seven magical orbs scattered around the Magic HQ.

Go outside and find all seven orbs; they are very easy to see since the sage will give you a special ability for that purpose.

Go back to the sage and give him the orbs. As a reward, your character will be turned into a witch.

The Sims 4 career total (currently): 21

Currently The Sims 4 is catching up in the number of careers. They have 11 base game careers, and the expansion packs have added 10 more careers.

They also have part-time jobs, children’s scouts, drama club, and freelancer careers. The careers include:

  • Astronaut
  • Athlete

  • Conservationist

The Sims 4 just released a new expansion called "Island Living" a few days ago, adding the Conservationist career. Assuming more content is coming for The Sims 4, the total careers for the game should increase.

EA continues to add more career content with every game since the first Sims game, but as it stands now The Sims 3 has the most career choices available. So no matter what you want to be, The Sims series has you covered.

New Sims 4 Pack 'Island Living' Gets Plenty of Info and a Release Date Sat, 08 Jun 2019 15:26:31 -0400 Josh Broadwell

EA Play closed today with an update on The Sims 4's newest expansion pack, Island Living.

Island Living features, as one would expect, island living mechanics. These include riding jet-skis to visiting the island bar hut, hanging out on the beach, and transforming it into a pristine Sim paradise. Oh, and turning into mermaids too, though the team didn't share as much about them right now.

Island Living is closer than players might expect too, as it's planned for a June 24 launch.

Character outfits received a good deal of attention, with a completely new, island-specific range of clothing and hair styles, all boasting a bright tropical color scheme.

Sims can freely enjoy the water as well, entering the water for the first time, swimming, snorkling, and more. Sims need a place to live too, and players can set their Sims up anywhere on the island, even right on the beach. Or right near the active volcano that dominates the island's horizon.

Island Living introduces new animals to befriend, including a dolphin and tropical fish. The dolphin can actually be trained as well.

The expansion's goal is meant to faithfully reproduce the idea of beach living and lets players take their friends and families out to the beach, enjoy some suntanning, build sandcastles, and even become conservationists working to keep the island ecosystem healthy.

In keeping with the conservation theme, the island will actually change over time. Players' actions affect everything on the island, so if the player takes care of their island, it will become lush and beautiful over time.

Other ways to earn money exist as well, such as odd jobs like fishing and being a life guard, or teaching other people-Sims how to dive.

This isn't an isolated experience, though. Neighbors make a return in The Sims 4: Island Expansion as part of a unique culture on the island. They might hold their own ceremonies or parties, teach players how to cook special meals, and frequently jump in to help the player out in times of trouble.

Another aspect of the island's special culture is the presence of Elementals, special guardian spirits that make positive connections with the player should they choose to care for the island — with the opposite being true if the player decides to trash it.

Island Living isn't all that's coming to the game though. The Sims 4 is getting a new batch of Pride-themed content starting June 18 and a new stuff pack that lets players pick up a part-time job as a freelance fashion photographer, plus yet another new pack this fall called Realm of Magic.

11 More NSFW Nude Mods From Your Favorite Games Thu, 07 Feb 2019 23:23:43 -0500 Ty Arthur

From survival sim Kenshi to AAA fantasy RPGs like Monster: Hunter World, these are our favorite nude mods for all the games that aren't Skyrim or Fallout.

What did you think of our picks, and have you found any other killer NSFW mods we should try out that didn't make the list? Sound off in the comments below.

Monster Hunter World - Naked Characters

If there's one game that really took the gaming scene by storm last year, it had to have been Monster Hunter: World. Everyone and their cousin was trying to figure out the best strategy for hunting Kirin, Deviljho, and Anjanath.

And yes, of course there are modders out there who decided that naked characters needed to be taking down those giant creatures. There's no shortage of options here for male and female characters, with or without "jiggle physics."

The Witcher 3 - Extra Nudity

With The Witcher 3, you almost don't even need mods, since there's already plenty of nudity and even full on sex scenes. That being said, of course modders found ways to increase the nude quotient and make things more explicit.

If you just want more prominently displayed female genitals, grab the first mod. If you want Geralt to walk through a wonderland of constantly naked women in every town and village, grab the second one.

Pillars Of Eternity II: Deadfire - Nude Dancers

Classic real-time-with-pause cRPG Pillars of Eternity 2 already had some light nudity in the bathhouse scenes, but there were some scenes that noticeably lacked that sort of adult content.

This small mod just tweaks some character models to make the dancers less clothed at the Wild Mare Tavern in the Queen's Berth section of Neketaka. If you need your fantasy romps to include some exotic strippers, this is the mod for you.

Titan Quest Anniversary Edition - Nude Female

A whopping 10 ears after its initial release, Titan Quest got a major update, even as the developers work on the next DLC for newer ARPG, Grim Dawn.

With plenty of players diving back in to try out the new mastery and extra content, it's the perfect time to give the game a go sans any clothes.

This mod does exactly what it sounds like: making the female main character battle monsters in the buff (and yes, you stay naked regardless of what armor is equipped).

Street Fighter V - Sexy Outfits

There are a surprising lack of nude mods for this iteration in the legendary fighting series, both due to issues in modding the game itself as well as the weirdly deformed nature of the character models in SFV.

For the best content, you want to ditch the usual mod download sites and instead go straight to the Patreon accounts of various Deviant Art content creators.

Unfortunately, that means some of these are locked behind a paywall. Your only other major option is just to check out straight porn images or videos inspired by Street Fighter V.

The Sims 4 - Nude EVERYTHING

Oh boy, I was very much not ready for the wild ride of a rabbit hole I went down looking up Sims 4 sex mods, and I'm starting to question my life choices and browsing habits at this point in time.

You can find pretty much everything here, from sexy underwear, to vaginas for dudes, to huge collections of models that bring specific porn stars to your virtual town.

I'll let the more adventurous search on their own from there, because that just barely scratches the surface of what's available. I've seen things you guys. I'VE SEEN THINGS.

Stardew Valley - Nude Portraits And Skins

When you think of nude mods, typically games like Fallout or Skyrim come to mind. Stardew Valley probably didn't even register in your brain, but trust us, if a thing exists, it has been made into a porn version on the internet somewhere.

There are an absolute avalanche of nude portraits for various shopkeepers and nude skins for most characters across the game to be downloaded at your leisure.

Want something a little different? There's even a futa skin mod for the main character. The size is a little wonky (I guess your futa farmer is a body builder on the side?), but otherwise, it's an amusing little addition to the game.

Soul Caliber VI - Naked Fighters

If you've ever wanted to watch a 3D naked waifu beat the ever loving snot out of an enemy, here's your chance in Soul Caliber VI.

While you can nudify either males or females, these mods sadly only work for custom characters, and they are only visible to you, not to your opponent. Perhaps this is for the best.

For those with a futa fetish, yes, you can mix and match them to get lady upper parts and dude lower jibbly bits.

Yakuza 0 - Nude Card Swap

Dirty collectible cards have been a staple of gaming for a surprisingly long time. From those often terrifying images to collect after your love conquests in the very first Witcher game, to finding nudie mags during shoot outs in the Mafia series, there's no shortage of lewd imagery in existing games.

If you simply want to add more nudity to the times between engaging in highly criminal activities, this little mod for Yakuza 0 swaps out the phone cards with naughtier (and often fully nude) versions of the existing models.

Kenshi - Nude Models

Conan Exils may have made the practice famous, but it definitely doesn't have the market of floppy genitals in the harsh wasteland of a fantasy survival sim cornered.

Kenshi has plenty of nude mods to choose from, of both the male and female variety. Just know ahead of time that the male one is a little off-putting and disturbing, as the modder didn't actually craft a penis texture.

What you get instead is basically a Ken doll with a totally smooth downstairs area, and it will haunt your dreams forever.

Resident Evil 2 (2019) Nude Mods

That didn't take long! Yep, we've already got a handful of nude mods arriving for the Resident Evil 2 remake, specifically to get topless and bottomless versions of both Claire and Ada.

Not that the Claire mod isn't *technically* fully nude, since she is wearing heels, and that's apparently a point of contention for some folks commenting over at Nexus Mods. Personally, I think we'll all live.

Yep, it's that time again. That magical time when I spend hours on porn sites to "research" the best adult mods for all of your favorite games.

In the past, we've covered titles like Mass Effect, the various Fallout games, and Saints Row, and, this time, we're going to hit a bigger slice of the gaming universe, featuring a larger cross section of genres.

From fighting games to RPGs to sims, we've found ways to add nudity to just about every kind of game out there.

Important Note: Many of these links go to very, very, very NSFW websites with fully nudity and penetration openly featured. Click at your own risk.

Be sure to also keep in mind that Nexus Mods hides nude content by default. In order to open those links, you need to have a Nexus Mods account logged in, and you have to manually turn off the NSFW censor feature in your settings.

To note, we'll be skipping games with dozens of available sex mods, like Fallout 4 and Skyrim, entirely. However, for those that are just getting started trying out NSFW mods, here's a handy list of links:

6 Of The Worst AAA Game Titles Fri, 29 Dec 2017 10:00:01 -0500 ReadyPlayerPaige

6. The Sims 4

Yet another series going down for the count. Usually, The Sims games were highly praised for the gameplay simulation, customization, and interesting activities in the game. However, as much as SimCity deserves to be on this list for numerous reasons, including their DRM policy, The Sims 4 has now over thrown SimCity as the worst of the worst AAA game title in the Sims series. What made this game such a major pain to gamers were the inability to save their game data, lots of glitches and bugs, and the removal of some of the things that made the Sims games very popular. EA sure does know how to take a great series and destroy its legacy.

Which other AAA game title was the worst to you? Post your comments below, and thanks for reading.

5. Need For Speed: Packback

EA's Need for Speed series was highly praised for its unique graphics, beautiful cars, and unbelievable city environments. Unfortunately, the series has now suffered due to EA's lack of direction, which is causing infamous rage among the gaming community. Need for Speed: Payback was a highly anticipated game that led to a major letdown, especially since they now include micro-transactions and free-to-play loot systems in the game. Let's not forget the terrible story mode and characters or the fact that there's no free-roaming cops as well. Gamers were outraged by this, wondering why EA has butchered what was once a great series. Truly, there is no wonder why people have now dubbed EA as one of the worst gaming companies ever.

4.Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5

The old saying goes for skateboarders, "If you fall off your board, you get back on." That is what this series was trying to do with Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 5. After the events of Ride and Shred, the series had fallen on its face, and Activision was trying to get it back on its feet. Unfortunately, the fifth game in the Pro Skater series failed to capture the magic of the four games before it. Gamers felt that it was too buggy to play, a glitched mess, there weren't enough inspiring activities to do in the game. As this might be a final nail in the coffin for the series, it's not too late to get this series back on its feet and skate once again.

3. No Man's Sky

No Man's Sky had so much promise, and it was well-regarded by so many people before its release. So what happened? Sean Murray promised so many features for the game, but those promises were nothing but hype with false advertisement. The game was to be a massive multiplayer game where players could interact with other players in an open-world environment. However, the game had a lack of variety in gameplay, uninteresting environments, and poor optimization on the PC ports. A high-priced game of $60 drove gamers to return their games for refunds because of its broken promises. A low score of 2.9 on Metacritic and a 5/10 on Steam really speak clearly about this game.

2. Star Wars: Battlefront 2

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 was highly anticipated, badly executed -- much like the first Battlefront game, which should be on this list as well. There is no doubt this game should belong on this list, for the most part due to the controversy surrounding it. Not to mention the things that lack in the game, like the single-player campaign and taking over 40+ hours to unlock Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader. One of the of the most controversial things about the game is the loot boxes, which some have compared to gambling. EA's trying to mitigate the major backlash, but the damage is already done. The game had a user score of 0.9 on Metacritic, and EA lost $3 billion because of this issue.

1. Friday the 13th: The Game

Sometimes games that are crowdfunded have a 50-50 chance to be successful. Fortunately, Friday the 13th was a successful campaign due to unique features like having the ability to not only play as a victim in a multiplayer environment but also as Jason himself -- and you can do multiple environmental kills in the game. Unfortunately, the game lacks in a couple of areas, and when the highly anticipated title was finally released, it looked very unfinished. It might not be the worst, but it was truly disappointing.

So what exactly is a "AAA" game title? It's basically a highly anticipated game with massive hype surrounding it, with high marketing and production. Some games hit the mark because they are well received by critics and gamers alike. Unfortunately, some games don't due to lack of direction, development issues, and other unfortunate errors. So, lets take a look at 6 Of the worst AAA games out there.

Games to Look Forward to in November 2017 Mon, 06 Nov 2017 17:33:11 -0500 Kieran Desmond

After a stellar October for video games, including the much anticipated October 27th video game buffet of Wolfenstein 2, Assassin's Creed: Origins, and instant classic, Super Mario Odyssey, the games industry is in no way ramping down as we head into November.

There's such a variety of awesome games coming up in November and there really is something for everyone. So check out this run through of which games are coming out, to help you make the big decision -- what to spend your hard-earned cash on.

Call of Duty: WWII - November 3

PS4, Xbox One, PC

Call of Duty's reinvention of itself/return to its gritty, boots on the ground roots is definitely going to help it be the biggest seller this month -- if not the entire year. Peeling back from their more futuristic themes has certainly paid off the franchise, with Infinite Warfare just last year becoming the most disliked video game trailer of all time.

Serving up its tried and true multiplayer focused gameplay, set in the grim World War II setting, and featuring far less parkour elements this time around, fans of the franchise will not be disappointed with Call of Duty: WWII. And with Sledgehammer Games back behind the wheel in this iteration, I think we're in for a treat when it comes to the single-player campaign.

.hack//G.U Last Recode - November 3

A fully restored and remastered collection of the PlayStation 2 ARPG, .hack//G.U. trilogy, released in celebration of the beloved franchise's 15th anniversary. As well as the original three titles, Rebirth, Reminisce, and Redemption; in Last Recode, CyberConnect2 are including an all new and exclusive fourth chapter, Reconnection, continuing Haseo's adventure from where Redemption left off.

If you were into these games back when they released, then it's a no-brainer to check out this definitive version. If you're unfamiliar with the series, the premise is essentially that you're controlling a character who is playing an MMO called The World. Think Sword Art Online, but without the part about being trapped in the game by a psychopathic game developer.

Steven Universe: Save the Light! - November 3

Xbox One

A direct sequel to mobile game Steven Universe: Attack the Light, Save the Light expands upon everything the first game did in almost every way. Save the Light is a beautiful recreation of the popular Cartoon Network show and really nails the tone, which is really the main draw.

Assuming that you're a well versed Steven Universe fan, which Save the Light most certainly does, I'd suggest picking this one up.

Xbox One X Console Launch - November 7

It's not a game, but this is definitely something to look forward to. "The Most Powerful Console Ever Made" is finally hitting store shelves to compete with Sony's PS4 Pro. Boasting "true 4K" gaming, a sleeker design, and a six-teraflop AMD Radeon GPU, the Xbox One X lives up to it's claim, shadowing the PS4 Pro's performance capabilities.

It's a hefty investment at $499, but if having the best performance and visuals is what you care about, then it'll be worth the price of admission.

Nioh - November 7

Good news for PC gamers -- the PS4 console exclusive, NIOH, is making its way to PC. Set during the fictionalized Sengoku period of Japan, you play as William, battling evil yokai (spirits) who are growing in power due to the chaos of civil war. If you're into Dark Souls-likes, don't miss out on this unique take on the genre.

Sonic Forces - November 7

PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch

Sonic Forces has a lot to live up after the fantastic Sonic Mania which released earlier this year. Featuring character customization and three different stage types (modern, classic, and avatar), it's shaping up to be a sort of all-in-one version of Sonic, taking inspiration from past mechanics and adding some new things too.

Taking a crack at another 3D Sonic game that I guess someone, somewhere is asking for, the pressure is on for Sega to deliver something that none of us are expecting -- a good 3D Sonic game. Sonic Team are trying to do something different with the once hugely popular series, so it'll be interesting to see how it turns out.

Horizon: Zero Dawn - The Frozen Wilds - November 7

Guerilla Games' robot dinosaur hunting game is getting its first DLC expansion this month in the form of The Frozen Wilds. This DLC pack adds an estimated 15 hours of extra content, which includes a new area for Aloy to explore in the far north of the map, new mid-game story content, a new tribe, and some new robot beasties to hunt.

Possibly the best new addition, however, and just in time for the holiday season, you can now make snow angels in Photo Mode. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas.

Super Lucky’s Tale - November 7

Xbox One, PC

A cutesy 3D platformer exclusive to the Xbox One, Super Lucky's Tale has you guiding the adorable fox, Lucky, through a series of levels to collect four-leaf clovers while solving a variety of puzzles.

The release date, overall premise, and even the inclusion of the word "Super" in its title, suggests that Super Lucky's Tale is meant as Microsoft's answer to Super Mario Odyssey. But I suspect that it's going to take more than a lucky fox to topple Nintendo's moustached mascot.

Mario Party: The Top 100 - November 10

Drawing from a whopping 21 Mario Party installments, the folks over at Nintendo have painstakingly crammed 100 of the best Mario Party mini-games, into one fun-filled experience in Mario Party: The Top 100.

It's a shame this didn't make it onto the Switch, as it would be the perfect party game to play with a group of friends. I'd wager that we're not far off from getting a fully fledged Mario Party game on the Switch for this very reason.

Doom - November 10

Nintendo Switch

If you thought that the Nintendo Switch was just for little kiddy games, think again. Released in 2016 to critical acclaim, the fast paced, first-person gore-fest is a must play for any fan of the genre.

With a great single-player mode full of awesome level design, cool guns, and a kick-ass soundtrack, Doom is a difficult one to say no to.

Need For Speed: Payback - November 10

PS4, Xbox One, PC

Need for Speed: Payback is the latest entry into the arcade-style street racing game. Heavily story focused this time around, you play as former street racer Tyler Morgan, who after being betrayed and exiled, is looking for guessed it -- payback. Build up a crew, collect cars, and take down "The House", the cartel in control of the city.

Payback sounds like the most RPG-ified Need for Speed yet, with cars belonging to one of 5 classes, having the most amount of customization ever in a NfS game, and finding and collecting abandoned vehicles. If you're bored of real-life simulation racing games then Need for Speed: Payback should be a good one to try out.

Football Manager 2018 - November 10

Live the dream and take a team from League 2 all the way up to become Premiership champs, or push out the manager of Manchester United and use their insane budget to create your dream team. There's so much you can do with this mindbogglingly deep management sim.

Popular as ever, the latest Football Manager debuts a new graphics engine, boasting improved lighting and better stadium and player models than ever.

The Sims 4: Cats & Dogs - November 10

Nearly three years after The Sims 4 came to PC, it's finally getting a much requested pets DLC. As the title of the DLC suggests, the Cats & Dogs update allows you to create your own cat or dog, choosing between different breeds, fur colors and patterns, and outfits to dress them up in.

Your new pet will develop it's own personality as you interact with them and you'll even be able to open your own veterinarian business. Another cute addition the bizarre world of The Sims.

Batman: The Telltale Series - Season 1 - November 14

Nintendo Switch

First Minecraft: Story Mode and now Batman: The Telltale Series. It looks like Telltale Games are going all in on their support for the Switch.

Take control of Bruce Wayne, as you deal with juggling his public persona as head of Wayne Enterprises, along with his Caped Crusader alter-ego. Decisions will be thrown at you that will affect both of Batman's identities, and it's up to the player to decide when its best to keep up appearances by playing nice with shady villains as Bruce, or how far Batman should go in service of justice.

L.A. Noire - November 14

Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One

The Rockstar developed 40's detective game that faded into obscurity is getting another chance in the spotlight. L.A. Noire was well received back in 2011, with particular praise for it's facial animations gameplay that helped you determine a suspect's true intentions. Using a combination of evidence and your own judgement based on how you perceived a suspects expressions, you attempt to solve a few gritty crimes.

The Switch version will feature motion controls and HD rumble support, whilst the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X versions will run at 4K for enhanced visual experience.

Lego Marvel Super Heroes 2 - November 14

PS4, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch

According to TT Games, the sequel to Lego Marvel Super Heroes promises to be bigger in every way. Featuring new (and more obscure) playable characters, a bigger open-world to play around in, and a longer story, it's clear that TT intend to honor that promise.

The villain this time around is Kang the Conqueror who will be bringing different times and realities together, which rallies Marvel's greatest heroes to save all Lego reality as we know it.

RiME - November 14

Nintendo Switch

Once upon a time, RiME was set to be published by and exclusive to Sony. Thankfully for us Switch owners, Tequila Works reacquired the rights to their game and it was picked up by Grey Box. Now after it's May console release, this beautifully-styled adventure-puzzle game is coming to Switch.

Regularly drawing flattering comparisons to Wind Waker and Ico, RiME stands out as more than just an homage to these genre giants. With a wonderful story full of little discoveries and emotional beats, RiME is a joy to play through and is recommended to all Switch owners looking for something a bit different.

Rocket League - November 14

Nintendo Switch

Finally! Football Cars: The Video Game is coming to Switch. Rocket League is one of those games that's great for killing 5 minutes, because that's usually how long it takes to open up and get through a match. Combined with the whole concept of the Nintendo Switch, I think Rocket League will retain it's world-wide popularity for a long time to come.

Also, think of the sweet Nintendo themed cars and accessories that will inevitably come to the game!

Pokemon Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon - November 17

Featuring new Ultra Beasts, altered island trials, and some new story elements, Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon look like familiar re-releases of the most recent Pokemon adventure. At least that's what we thought before November.

Now it's been revealed that Team Rocket will be making a come back in the form of a new organization called Team Rainbow Rocket, with no other than Giovanni himself at the helm. It also looks like other lead villains from previous games, such as Archie of Team Aqua and Lysandre of Team Flare, have been incorporated into the biggest criminal organization in Pokemon history.

Perhaps the biggest surprise, however, is that Legendary Pokemon from previous games will be obtainable through Ultra Wormholes, each having their own Ultra form which changes a Pokemon's stats and appearance in some really cool ways. A perfect send off for the main Pokemon series on 3DS.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 - November 17

PS4, Xbox One, PC

After a financially successful but heavily criticized first attempt, DICE's second bout with the Battlefront series looks to have addressed many of the main concerns had by fans.

Introducing a 6-8 hour long campaign mode, more offline multiplayer modes, and more weapon and class variety, Star Wars Battlefront 2 could well be the droid you're looking for.

Including heroes, vehicles, and planets spanning the prequel, sequel, and original trilogies fans, won't be short on content for good while. But when the time comes that you've had your fill, DICE will be releasing free DLC expansions including new planets, vehicles, and heroes. It sure is an exciting time to be a Star Wars fan.

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim - November 17

Nintendo Switch

Nearly six years to the day since its initial release, Skyrim is making its debut on yet another new platform. Featuring motion controls and some exclusive Zelda-inspired gear, Skyrim for Switch is the best and only way to slay dragons on-the-go.

The Sims 4 - November 17

PS4, Xbox One

After being available on PC for 3 years, Maxis has delivered the ultimate life simulation game to consoles. The vanilla console version features some content that was missing from the PC version at launch such as pools, ghosts, toddlers, and dishwashers. So don't worry, you can still trap your Sims in a pool and have their ghosts torment their remaining family members. Because that's what you do in The Sims, right?

Resident Evil: Revelations Collection - November 28

Nintendo Switch

Including both RE: Revelations 1 and 2 this Nintendo Switch re-release comes with a few extra features -- mostly in the form of tabletop-mode motion controls.

By holding ZL on the left Joy-Con, you aim your gun by moving the right Joy-Con around. You can also quickly reload you weapon by simulating putting a magazine into a gun with the left Joy-Con and use your knife attack by slashing horizontally with the right Joy-Con.

The Revelations Collection also supports local mulitplayer across two Switch consoles.

Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp - Late November

iOS, Android

The highly anticipated Animal Crossing mobile game isn't what a lot of us expected, but I for one am glad. Nintendo changing things up and subverting expectations is one of the reasons they've managed to successfully re-invent their roster so many times over the years.

Now with Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, fans will be able to run a camp site from your phone -- along with all the usual Animal Crossing activities. That includes fishing, finding shells, befriending lovable guests of the site, and of course, paying off debt. I haven't seen any sign of Tom Nook yet, but the slightly suspicious looking Giovanni seems like he may be the slime ball giving players grief this time around.

It's available in Australia right now, but the rest of us will unfortunately have to wait, though there are ways to play Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp early

And that's every game worth mentioning that's coming out in November. Man, it is good to be a gamer right now. Like I said, there's so many awesome games coming out this month that it's going to be tough to choose how to spend my limited free time.

How are you going to spend yours? Let me know in the comments section below!
