Absolver: Halloween 1.08 Update

\n

Sloclap and Devolver Digital released Absolver's latest update recently, which includes new seasonal gear, among other updates and accessories.

\n

Your 1v1 Combat Trials matches can now take place at night, but more importantly for some players is the fact that all 6 Marked Ones are sporting Halloween masks--Halloween masks that can be dropped upon your victory. You can check them out in the trailer above.

\n

There are a couple of other important inclusions in the update. One of them is the Prestige system, which lets you advance your Absolver beyond level 60 and provides additional subsystems to help you grow them even further. Each level gained nets you a Crystal, which you can use to reset attribute points.

\n

The random loot drops from Combat Trials have been replaced with Rift Disks and Rift Coins, items that can be traded for rare gear. You also can acquire Rift Disks by trading in Crystals.

\n

There's a new, more intuitive inventory management system included in the update too. And the other major addition? You can now be bald.

Hearthstone: Hallow's End

\n

It wouldn't be Halloween without Hearthstone! The Hallow's End event is back, and the Headless Horseman is your master of ceremonies. He's taken control of the tavern, which you'll find has been remade to match the seasonal mood, but there's more to the event than just that. Once each week during the Halloween spectacular, the Headlass Horseman will be handing out card packs and an Arena ticket.

\n
    \n
  • Log in before October 30 at 10:00 pm PDT to receive two Whispers of the Gods packs and an Arena ticket.
  • \n
  • Log in between October 31 at 12:01 am PDT and November 5 at 10:00pm PDT to recieve two Knights of the Frozen Throne packs and an arena ticket.
  • \n
\n
Arena Matches
\n

There's a brand new dual-class Arena match for the duration of Hallow's End too. Each Hero is wearing a special Halloween costume; you'll choose both a Hero and a Hero Power and then receive cards from both classes, alongside your neutral cards.

\n
Tricky Tavern Brawl--Now Through Oct. 28
\n

Don a costume and travel throughout the countryside to find the Headless Horseman and put an end to his tricksy deeds. What costume you'll wear is Discovered once the Brawl begins, and each costume has its own deck featuring cards from across the classes, plus a passive Hero Power.

Fortnite Patch 1.8

\n

All of this is part of the much larger Fortnite update out now, and here are the details about it.

\n
Leaderboards
\n

The patch implements different types of rankings to help you see how you stack up to the competition in these categories:

\n
    \n
  • Total wins
  • \n
  • Solo
  • \n
  • Dual
  • \n
  • Squad
  • \n
\n

There are two types of leaderboards too, and they all automatically reset on Wednesday of each week.

\n

Division Leaderboard

\n

These are based on different groups, or divisions, of players.

\n
    \n
  • Each division is made up of 50 players competing against each other.
  • \n
  • Players are automatically assigned to new divisions each week.
  • \n
  • Each match type gets its own division.
  • \n
\n

Friend Leaderboard

\n
    \n
  • Compare and compete with your friends by turning on "friends only" on the board settings.
  • \n
\n
Team Chat
\n

PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players who own a microphone now have the option for team chat in their games, and it's a default setting. PC players have voice options too--added in the last update--but they need to push talk to activate it, and it's bound to the Y key. Chat isn't mandatory, though, and can be deactivated in the  Audio Options menu.

\n
Slurp Juice
\n

This consumable item is a major new piece added in the update. It grants the user one health and one shield per 25 seconds and can restore your health all the way up to 100. You'll find them in the same areas where you find other consumables, and you can also stack up to 2 of them.

\n

\n
Season Levels
\n

These seasonal perks are a way to help level up your character and get exclusive items into the bargain. The first level gives you the ability to raise your character to 100 and displays your level in your banner. It also adds banner flair from levels 2-49 so you can display your prowess for all to see.

\n

There are two seasonal awards for progressing through the first season as well.

\n
    \n
  • Level 10: Unique seasonal banner
  • \n
  • Level 25: Unique seasonal glider
  • \n
\n

Daily challenges are the way you raise your seasonal experience points, with a new one provided every day and the ability to have up to 3 active at one time.

Clash of Clans: Halloween 2017

\n

Fans of Clash of Clans won't be surprised to hear that Supercell appears to be gearing up for yet another seasonal event. Details aren't confirmed as of yet, but here's what seems to be in store.

\n
Troops
\n

Supercell is introducing two new troop types: Pumpkin Barbarian and Giant Skeleton Troop. The Pumpkin Barbarian is a regular Barbarian dressed up as a pumpkin and with an extra shield -- a pumpkin shield, of course. Don't let the images you might have seen fool you either. The Pumpkin Barbarian doesn't have low HP; that's just for the shield.

\n

\n

The Giant Skeleton has its own unique characteristics that actually encourage you to let it get defeated. It carries around a giant explosive that goes off when it dies. It can even destroy structures like spell factories.

\n
Obstacle
\n

This year's Halloween obstacle is a baby dragon skull. Like other obstacles before it, it costs 25k elixir to remove and gives you 75k in return.

\n

We'll post more as it becomes available, so check back soon!

Pokemon GO: Halloween 2017

\n

Niantic finally announced what dataminers already discovered: Halloween introduces Generation III Pokemon from Ruby and Sapphire! The event runs from October 20th at 12pm PST to November 2 at 1pm PST.

\n

As in previous years, there will be higher chances of finding the returning spooky Pokemon, including Houndoom and Gengar, but you'll also get to catch Gen III's Ghost types as well--Duskull and Dusclops, Shuppet and Banette, and Sableye. And, starting in December, Niantic will be slowly rolling out additional Hoenn Pokemon, though which ones and when specifically have not yet been stated. However, you'll also want to be on the lookout for the special witch-hat-wearing-Pikachu seen in the trailer.

\n

Special boxes are on sale too, with items including Raid passes, Super Incubators, and, of course, candy. Pokemon will be earning twice as much candy as normal during the event too. There's also a Gen VII surprise in store, in the form of a Mimikyu hat you can get for your avatar.

Guild Wars 2: Shadow of the Mad King

\n

The Mad King returns in Guild Wars 2 for yet more Halloween mayhem! The event brings with it numerous spooky diversions for your gaming pleasure, from battles to puzzles and more besides!

\n

The Mad King's Labyrinth

\n

Find your way through the maze, knocking on doors to trick-or-treat, if you have the courage for it. Watch your back, though; monsters prowl the maze, looking for an easy meal. If this all gets too much for you, there's always the Lunatic Inquisition you can try instead, the event's PvP mode

\n

Ascent to Madness

\n

Face off against the Mad King himself--Oswald Thorn. Study his tactics carefully if you want a chance for survival. But be careful--you never can tell what a madman might do next.

\n

The Mad King's Clock Tower

\n

Race your way to the top of the crumbling, haunted clock tower. Mind your step as you go, because one wrong move sends you tumbling into the rising tide of horrors below.

\n

Lion's Arch Festivities and More

\n

Drink in the Halloween atmosphere at the creepily bedecked Lion's Arch, and you might even have Oswald Thorn himself drop in for a game of Mad King Says. But of course, it wouldn't be Halloween without treats, and there are plenty to go around, including Halloween skins, weapons, and armor.

Rocket League: Haunted Hallows Event

\n

Rocket League''s first ever Halloween event is here! It runs until November 6th at 10am PST, and it introduces a brand new form of currency for a limited time: Candy Corn.  You'll be using this throughout the event, so here's a short guide to help get you started.

\n
What is It?
\n

Candy Corn is your spendable reward that you use to purchase Haunted Hallows Crates, alongside Decryptors and other Halloween items. You receive Candy Corn as a reward for completing an online match, so it's a simple and intuitive system.

\n

Your Candy Corn will disappear one week after the event ends, but everything you purchase with it remains in your inventory, including crates. To spend your candy, click the Special Events button on the main menu, and go from there.

\n

\n
What Can I Get with It?
\n

The Haunted Hallows Crates are your the main draw for spending your Candy Corn, and they contain a variety of items for your Halloween enjoyment. These items are separate from the ones you can purchase in the event store as well.

\n

However, you can also purchase Decryptors with Candy Corn, Decryptors are a new way of unlocking crates in Rocket League and, for now, can only be purchased with Candy Corn. Be sure to note that crates unlocked with Decryptors cannot be traded.

\n
Anything Else I Should Know?
\n

There are two other ways of obtaining Haunted Hallows crates. One is through regular online play; there's a chance a crate will drop at the end of each match. The other is through purchasing them directly, with real-world money. However, like crates unlocked through Decryptors, Haunted Hallows crates bought with money cannot be traded. The crates won't be updated for next year either, which means you can wait an entire year to open them, if you so choose.

Trailer Park Boys: Greasy Money Zombie Outbreak

Minecraft: Spooktacular Server Events

\n

Sandbox fans aren't left out of the Halloween fun either! Mojang's server partners are running several different Halloween events from Friday 13th (quite appropriately) until October 31st. From trick-or-treating to fleeing from zombies, there's plenty to keep you in the Halloween spirit.

\n
Lifeboat
\n

The lobby received a Halloween makeover, featuring pumpkins, glowing green goo, and spiders, but there's more lurking in the dark than the eye can see right away.

\n

You'll need to keep an eye out for a tiny skeleton wandering around the lobby, and if you catch him, you receive a cave spider zombie jockey as a pet to accompany you until Halloween. But beware: the hunter can easily become the hunted. Zombies prowl the lobby, looking for their next snack. However, you can always take a break and enjoy the Haunted House parkour course too--if you dare.

\n
InPvP
\n

There are changes afoot in the lobby here too. The entire lobby has taken on an eerie Halloween-themed neighborhood look, complete with spooky skins for your characters. Get your skin from the Jack-o-Lantern by the spawn point, then head over to the house for your treat--but be prepared for tricks too. You can also bring along one of the limited time DLC pets, including blaze, wolf, or mooshroom, among others.

\n

On top of that, you can play the Halloween themed SkyWars map, where every island is a grave, and you have to keep on your toes to ensure it isn't yours.

\n
Mineplex
\n

The Mineplex event is all about rewards. The Pumpkin King has arrived, and he brings with him an assortment of quests, each with their own rewards, on a three hour basis. There are also flaming pumpkins that will randomly appear in games, each offering prizes to those who smash them, from gems and keys, to Top Rank.

\n

This one has its own limited time DLC too, in the form of trick-or-treat boxes you can gift to your friends (or hoard for yourself). They contain lobby effects, potions, costumes, and food.

Black Desert Online: Halloween in Wonderland

\n

Kakao Games and Pearl Abyss are bringing a unique new crossover and aesthetic to Black Desert Online starting October 18. As the above trailer shows, it centers around mysterious wormholes linking Wonderland to the world of Black Desert -- and, of course, the White Rabbit plays an important role. But so do you: you're enlisted by the White Witch to assassinate the Black Witch.

\n

Other Halloween additions include spooky makeovers for central hubs like Velia and Heidel, and there will also be special Alice in Wonderland- themed areas and props, like the Mad Hatter's Tea Party.

\n

Of course, it wouldn't be Halloween without costumes, and there'll be plenty of those. The Angelic and Demonic Queen outfits are two notable inclusions, and you can also dress your horse up with the Skeletal Horse Set. Throughout the event, you can wear Scarecrow Masks and Halloween pets Neurotic Cabby and Witch Hat Charlotte make their return this year too.

\n

More information is set to come next week when the event starts, so be sure to check back!

Hi-Rez Studios is offering a Halloween 2017 event for SMITE players, too. It comes in the form of its Departure to the Afterlife event, which is part of the latest SMITE patch, 4.19. It includes plenty of features to help infuse your game with some frightful fun.

\n

\n
SMITE Halloween Skins
\n

There are six new skins in the Departure to the Afterlife event to help put you in the Halloween mood. And of course, they're all appropriately afterlife themed:

\n
    \n
  • Grim Reaper Thanatos
  • \n
  • Trick or Treat Cupid
  • \n
  • Warchief Raijin (Odyssey)
  • \n
  • Hachiman Mastery
  • \n
  • Yurei Susano (Odyssey)
  • \n
  • Mummified Izanami (Odyssey)
  • \n
\n

\n
Other Departure to the Afterlife Treats
\n

In addition to the new God skins, the Halloween map makes a return appearance, alongside the Scary Potion. You'll also get some new Halloween chest items, including the Cupid and Thanatos skins mentioned earlier, a  Jack-o'-Lantern Jump Stamp, and the Spooky Music Theme.

\n

The patch itself includes the return of foul-mouthed announcer Tactless Tina, which may or may not count as frightening, depending on your viewpoint -- and your playstyle.

Overwatch Halloween Terror 2017

\n

Overwatch's Halloween Terror event is back! And the best part is that there's even more to it this year, from new skins and new items to Halloween-themed arenas and a brand new game mode. You've got a good while to enjoy this hero-shooter event, too: it runs from now through November 1.

\n
PvE Brawls
\n

Dr. Junkenstein makes his return in Junkenstein's Revenge, and Blizzard added an endless mode for it -- appropriately named "Endless Night"-- to really test your skills as you battle endless waves of enemies fighting to gain entrance into the castle. You can also choose from four additional characters for this mode: Genji, Torbjorn, Zenyatta, and Widowmaker. Alongside that is a brand new leaderboard to record the highest scores and see who made it the farthest.

\n

\n
New Skins
\n

In addition to the skins from last year's event, there are eight new skins for the 2017 Overwatch Halloween event:

\n
    \n
  • Dragon Symmetra
  • \n
  • Van Helsing McCree
  • \n
  • Jiangshi Mei
  • \n
  • Corsair Ana
  • \n
  • Cultist Zenyatta
  • \n
  • Totally '80s Zarya
  • \n
  • Viking Torbjorn
  • \n
  • Vampire Reaper
  • \n
\n

\n
Spooky Arenas
\n

Two maps have received a Halloween makeover as well. During the event, you can play in spooky versions of the Hollywood and Eichenwalde maps.

\n

\n
Loot Boxes
\n

In true Trick-or-Treat style, there are also Halloween themed loot boxes for you to purchase. These loot boxes contain a wide variety of things, from new skins and voice lines to avatars, emotes, and even last year's items -- some of which you might have missed.

The New Family Guy and Trailer Park Boys Mobile Games Suck https://www.gameskinny.com/p5gid/the-new-family-guy-and-trailer-park-boys-mobile-games-suck https://www.gameskinny.com/p5gid/the-new-family-guy-and-trailer-park-boys-mobile-games-suck Mon, 15 May 2017 20:47:35 -0400 Dan Roemer

Prior to the age of smart phones and the mobile gaming market as we know it, if a television or movie studio wanted to make a video game tie-in, they would aim for the only obvious market -- the console market. Because of this, that game would actually have to be a full fledged $30-60 retail game. Now sure, some of these were absolute trash...but some were absolutely great.

Big properties such as The Simpsons had a plethora of incredible licensed games, such as the 1991 arcade game, The Simpsons: Hit & Run. Even the 2007 game cartoon tie-in, simply titled The Simpsons Game, was fairly well received alongside its brethren.

With the modern mobile gaming market seemingly being the home for third party licensed games, Matt Stone and Trey Parker, alongside developer Obsidian Entertainment and publisher Ubisoft, broke away from this trend and released a full fledged $60 retail game known as South Park: The Stick of Truth -- and it was fantastic.

But What About that Guy, You Know, the One with a Family?

So how does a well-established cartoon series such as Family Guy, which has been going strong for 18 years and doesn't seem to be slowing down, not have a single decent video game under its belt? No seriously, name one. For whatever reason, Family Guy hasn't produced a single noteworthy video game that's received even decent grades. Knowing that, it shouldn't shock anyone that Family Guy: Another Freakin Mobile Game falls into the same category as its peers -- dookie.

Even the name of the game itself is somewhat questionable. Were they trying to be meta or something? Was it all a gag? Wouldn't it be funnier if they actually made something competent, and then naming it Another Freakin Mobile Game as a big swerve or punchline? Maybe the joke was (and still is) on me -- playing it full well knowing already what to expect.

As for the actual game itself, it's another match three type with some minor differences. You simply need to match the colors of the drinks, condoms, or other objects to progress to the next level. You're scored on a three star system depending on how many moves it took for you to complete the lever -- or what your score was for each level.

The main story of the game revolves around Peter deciding to start a bar-on-wheels sort of deal, driving around delivering booze around Quahog to those in need. Of course, the game itself doesn't feature any actual voice acting, everything is delivered in speech-bubble format, with sound effects thrown in here and there, probably to keep the budget as low as possible -- matching the level of the game's quality.

It does have some novel ideas, to be fair. There's a boss fight where you have to match a certain amount of blocks in order to damage the boss, but these interesting scenarios are few and far between. Each time you win a level, you'll receive a unique winning animation of random characters doing a dance or something of the sort -- but trust me, you'll be seeing the same animation a lot. I lost track of how many times I saw Stewie doing the exact same pose and dance after beating a level.

Oddly enough, the same applies to each loading screen: you'll see the exact same loading screen telling you, “Make bigger matches to collect power-ups”. I honestly don't think the game has any other loading screen than this one; I've spent hours playing and haven't come across a different one. It's like they originally intended to place different tips on each screen, only thought of this one, and gave up. The game is also plagued with a number of crashing issues. During my few hours spent with Family Guy: Another Freakin Mobile Game, it crashed roughly 4-5 times on my iPad Mini 2.

I honestly can't recommend this game to anyone. It features nothing noteworthy in terms of fan-fare, and it doesn't have enough depth to be a decent match three game. I breezed through 25 levels without any challenge and was getting three stars on every level. This is just another game to add to the pile of garbage and mediocrity that is the current list of Family Guy related video games.

"We're About to Sail Into a Shit Typhoon, Randy, So We Better Haul in the Jib Before it Gets Covered with Shit"

Trailer Park Boys is a guilty pleasure of mine. As a Canadian, I've been watching it since I was a kid. In recent years, I'm proud of the boys getting creative control over the show and the Netflix deal being a huge success. We've been getting more Trailer Park Boys than ever before, and they've hit massive mainstream exposure outside of Canada.

Which in turn has allowed them to push out tons of new merchandise and their very own mobile game, Trailer Park Boys: Greasy Money, which seems to only nail the low budget aspect of trailer park boys, but doesn't come close to the level of quality. Is it a match three game? No, it's worse -- it's a tapper.

Despite the lack of voice acting (once again), the writing in this game is a huge step up from Family Guy: Another Freakin Mobile Game. It was the only real thing that even kept me playing or coming back for more.

The story revolves around Ricky pissing into a jug, which he accidentally throws into a maple syrup truck, thus ruining the Canadian economy and making the dollar almost worthless. So, they begin to scheme new ways to make massive amounts of money.

The game starts off easy and quick enough, with each set of goals broken up into “seasons” that mostly involve getting X built, getting X amount of customers, or getting X amount of money. Once done, you're greeted with more dialogue and a “boss fight” -- which is more or less just tapping away at the screen some more.

Then the boys get thrown in jail for the millionth time and a new season begins. You once again rebuild your different, greasy money making contraptions, such as stolen gasoline, the dirty dancer, or Bubble's iconic kitty daycare to name a few. Then you begin tapping away to collect things once more or let that "dum dum" Cory collect it while you sit there or turn your phone off.

However, the biggest problem is once you hit season 3 and beyond, the game grinds to a halt in terms of story progression. So much so that completing a goal can sometimes take up to four hours and beyond to finish. Which is where liquor and hash coins come in (the in-game currency), which allow you to speed up time and buy other in-game goodies. You can either buy these with real money, complete side objectives and goals within the game, or watch some ads and do surveys.

Once again, I honestly can't recommend this to fans of the show. It just becomes a slow crawl of boredom past the first two seasons, with goals taking hours on end to complete. Now obviously, you're supposed to just “come back later” or buy hash coins and liquor -- but the key problem is that there isn't much to keep you actually coming back.

Is Mobile Gaming Doomed to Nothing but Mediocrity?

Back in 2012, I genuinely thought the mobile marketplace would be the next “big thing” in terms of hand held gaming -- and long term, it would be the foreseeable future of it, replacing hand held consoles altogether. With phones getting more and more advanced in their hardware specifications, I thought for sure we'd begin to see noteworthy games popping up, games rivaling those on console or PC.

Now sure, there are a few games on mobile that managed to achieve a lot in recent years. But I'd argue almost 90% of the mobile gaming landscape is comprised of Pokemon GOMinecraft, and Flappy Bird clones, clickers/tappers, and match three games. The remaining 9% comprises weird, mostly broken indie games, while the remaining 1% is comprised of decent video games, which in most cases, are usually ports of existing games on other hardware.

However, now in 2017, five years later, I honestly question whether or not mobile gaming will ever progress further than where it is now. With video games achieving so much in recent years in terms of innovation, from delving deep into subject matters and life experiences like That Dragon, Cancer, the best thing mobile gaming has managed in these five years is making me go outside to catch Pokemon for a few weeks.

If you ask gamers today what they think of mobile gaming, the most common response and outlook on the platform is negative. That negative stigma has grown, so much so that when you have a huge property like Family Guy get its own mobile game named “Another Freakin Mobile Game” -- it honestly leaves me wondering if mobile gaming is truly doomed to fail in the long term. The lack of quality control and developers disregarding it makes me think so.

Games like Family Guy: Another Freakin Mobile Game and Trailer Park Boys: Greasy Money are just more games adding to this ever growing stigma, and each shows a blatant lack of quality from both the market itself and professional developers.

But what do you guys think? I'd love to hear your own thoughts in the comments below, but for everything mobile gaming, stay tuned to GameSkinny!

Trailer Park Boys Greasy Money Tips - Decent! https://www.gameskinny.com/nb5mc/trailer-park-boys-greasy-money-tips-decent https://www.gameskinny.com/nb5mc/trailer-park-boys-greasy-money-tips-decent Mon, 01 May 2017 04:21:52 -0400 Ashley Shankle

Let's not kid ourselves: Trailer Park Boys Greasy Money is crazy slow. I love the boys, but I hate the grind. And the grind is real here.

The problem is, no matter how grindy the game is, I can't stop coming back to check on my cash gains, pop open Lahey's trunk, and go through the rounds to get customers and upgrade my stuff.

There's something about the game that keeps me logging in. Maybe it's how closely it sticks to the tone of the show, maybe it's just to see numbers go up, or maybe I'm just a masochist. Who knows. I don't -- but I do know some tips to help streamline your time with the game and progress a little faster.

One thing you need to know right now is that the only way to really speed up your progress is to spend real money to get hashcoins or to go through the rounds to get free ones (but the whole installing and buy things to get free hashcoins really sucks). You just kind of have to accept the pace of the game, and that you're not meant to sit there and play it for hours on end.

Let's get to it, boys!

Be the liquor

Liquor makes the world go 'round in Greasy Money. You may be trying to rack up dollars and you may be able to get hashcoins, but the liquor is where it's really at.

Every upgrade costs liquor, and the prices get to be high quickly. Having 700 liquor feels pretty great until you end up only being able to afford two upgrades with it, and then it feels terrible. Kind of like actually drinking.

Because you only get large amounts of liquor from Lahey's trunk or paying real money, you have to use it wisely. What this boils down to is: Put some thought into your liquor spending.

Spread your upgrades out

Yeah, liquor gains are crazy slow. For that very reason, it's in your best interest to spread out your business and character upgrades. That and some businesses aren't around in different seasons.

Protip: Don't put all your eggs in Ricky's Used Gas early on.

The game doesn't give you any indication that a business won't be available next season, so you're going to have to go in blind and hope for the best.

Your best business upgrade strategy is to level each business you have available once, and then continue to level them evenly. For example, get your Ricky's Used Gas, Dirty Dancer, Kittyland, etc. to level 2 if you have the cards, then do it again for level 3, and so on. It's a long process but will make your cash gains more even overall.

Characters give bigger bonuses than direct business upgrades

Whether you're just starting out or already deep into Greasy Money, you should be prioritizing character over building upgrades.

Decent! Especially when compared with the direct upgrade pictured above.

Since character cards are harder to come by, their levels give bigger bonuses. It's just a more economical use of your liquor -- and with Canada's economy down the drain, the boys (you) have to put some more thought into their schemes than they actually do in the show.

Gold trunk, legendary trunk, or just straight up liquor? (AKA "What to use hashcoins on")

Hashcoins are crazy hard to come by and, unluckily for us, so are the rare character cards found in the gold trunk.

Early on it is far better to buy liquor with your hashcoins than it is to buy either trunk. You simply need the liquor too badly and it's better to invest in characters who are common, before the prices get to be too much to handle.

With the above in mind, your best use of hashcoins early in the game is to buy liquor straight up.

Obviously the 3000 liquor for 500 hashcoins is the ideal, but if you're not throwing money at the game try to save up for the 1000 liquor for 180 pack.

Do not buy the 50 hashcoins for 250 liquor pack. It's a ripoff.

As for trunks, the legendary is only useful for rare characters.

Getting up to 420 liquor from a 450 hashcoin purchase is just greasy. Only buy it if you need/want those characters and have done what you can otherwise.

I can't recommend the gold trunk unless you absolutely need the one rare character it has at a time.

9 times out of 10, you're going to want to trade with Julian

It's starting to look like all of these tips are focused around dealing with the tiny liquor gains. This one definitely is.

Once in a while a paper bag icon will appear at the bottom of the trailer park with an offer from Julian to trade cards for 20 liquor. You should usually take it.

Usually the trade is worth it because of how valuable liquor is -- but if he wants cards that you absolutely need or rare character cards, don't bother. Julian will just go poach lobsters or something and deal with it.

The same goes for watching ads for liquor: If you get the offer, take it.

Are there more things to Greasy Money tips? If you've played through at least the first few seasons, not that I can think of.

The biggest tip I can give you is to accept the pace of the game, take it easy, and don't throw real money at the boys and their game unless you really like it and already tossed money at a Swearnet subscription.
