I've been an active gamer for over 30 years. I was hooked when introduced to Kings Quest on my first IBM PC back in 1984. Over the years I have witness many changes, some for the good and some for the not-so-good. In the year 2000 I became more industry involved from a business standpoint. I was the first on the scene to pioneer the art of Skinning video game consoles starting a company called Designerskins. Working with several game developers and video game manufactures I began to get a real feel for where things were headed. Since then Video games have changed at a rapid pace driven by technology of hardware, back-end programing and design, high speed connections, mobile devices and the cloud. Video games are no longer targeted for just the young. Young or old, male or female, all enjoy playing these games. These factors have made the industry both exciting and difficult for both developer and consumer. Hopefully you find what I have to say thought provoking.
