It's the most wonderful time of the year for Destiny players! It's time for The Dawning!

As a winter event, “The Dawning” will have new quests, weapons, gear, gifts and treasures that are all event-exclusive. But two permanent additions to the game will include the Sparrow Racing League and a Strike scoring system

Sparrow Racing will be a bit different from last year, as you’ll be able to infuse gear and item drops based on your Light level. New tracks and Sparrows will also be added, along with a record book for anyone who owns Rise of Iron, providing more objectives as you race.

The record book will also include Strike scoring, which will lead you to earning new weapons and quests.

“The Dawning” starts for owners of Rise of Iron December 13th and ends January 3rd. Stay tuned to GameSkinny as the holiday rolls around for more information on the event and guides on how to get the most out of it.
