Grand Theft Auto 5 Cheat Codes
If you have eyes, ears, and know what electricity is, then chances are you are aware of Grand Theft Auto. GTA is probably the most popular series of games ever coded and is so compendious in what it allows players to do that nearly every demographic and political party has a lobbying team working to have it banned.
On top of sporting some of the freest, most unrestricted gameplay in existence, GTA has a proud tradition of offering fans many entertaining and occasionally game-breaking cheat codes. Rock Star studios have gone over the top in their latest offering, GTA 5, in which cheat code derived superpowers include Explosive punches, bullet-time shooting, and- of course- God Mode.
GTA 5 doesn't have more cheat codes than any other game on Earth. My money says Skyrim has it beat on that account. But the cheats you find on GTA 5 are, per usual, powerful. Summon vehicles, parachutes, slow time, shoot and punch fire, get magically drunk, heal fast enough to make Wolverine blush and pull crazy vehicles out of your pants like a vulture you can ride, or just fly around town on a freaking comet.
Personally, I usually put off using cheat codes like this for as long as I can possibly control myself. That's because I find that, for me, as soon as I access unlimited Win Juice, the illusion is broken and I tend to stop enjoying the game. Of course, it's no shock that fans love the invincibility cheat code. I get it, running around absorbing bullets like sunshine and shrugging off being hit by buses, or napping on the front of a moving train is tops.
All that stuff is grand. What I found a bit aggravating, however, is the fact that achievements are disabled while any cheat codes are active. Also, you can't use cheat codes during missions. This thwarts the way I tend to want to play- that is taking out of mission gaming more seriously that the driven story mode for a more open-world RPG type experience. The missions are the most frustrating part of GTA, the way you have to start at the spot you were in before you even drove to the place where the mission engages. Dying toward the end of a particularly tough mission for the Nth time after driving across the whole map just to sign up for the job -yeah- that's a rage quit moment if you ask me. But to each their own.
Overall, the GTA 5 is a great game with great cheats, and if you love the franchise you will not be disappointed. Especially since, the moment you feel the slightest twinge of disappointment, you can just summon a mother-loving comet.
