How to get the best power armor in Fallout 4

A short guide on how to get the best power armor in Fallout 4.

Power armor is a huge part of Fallout 4 if you want to be a complete tank when wandering the Wasteland. With the new armor modding feature in the game, you can make your power armor even stronger than you could ever imagine. The best part of modding your armor is being able to create what you think looks cool and taking different pieces of armor and putting them on your character. If you want to have the best pieces of armor however, look no further than the X-01 suit.

In order for this guide to work for you, first make sure your character is at least level 28.  Yes, you will be able to find pieces for this suit here and there around the Wasteland, but this is a full suite.

Once you’ve made it to level 28, head to the location called “Custom House Tower.”

If you see a white building with flags and six pillars on the front, you’re in the right spot. From here, turn left and be on the lookout for a bright greenish building. You should come up to the side of the building first. Head around the left corner, and the door will be ahead.  On the right of the door you should see a sign that says “Court 35”. That’s how you know you’re in the right spot.

Once inside, kill any enemies and head to the left to find an elevato. Hop in and go up. At the top, make a right and head on outside. An alarm will go off, and two enemies will come out so be ready and have plenty of ammo and first aid supplies.

Once you kill the bots, head into the room the bots came from and go to each of the bots’ chambers. In each room, you will find a red button. Press the button in both chambers.

Once both buttons are pressed the armor will appear in the room in the middle of the two bots’ chambers. You can make this armor even stronger by modding it.

Ta-da! There you have it, the best armor in the game.  This will make fighting Deathclaws a piece of cake…who am I kidding? They will never be a piece of cake. But this will give you an advantage in the rest of your adventures.
