Skyrim Alchemy Potion Recipes Guide
Alchemy in Skyrim is easier to get into than you might think, and most players will want to delve into it to some degree at least for restorative potions. The buffs and poisons you can craft through Alchemy are well worth it as well. In this guide we'll go over getting into Skyrim Alchemy and how to best use it for you.
Combinations of Alchemy Ingredients in Skyrim
Each Alchemy ingredient in Skyrim has four distinct effects. Through trial and error (i.e., eating the ingredients or combining them using the Alchemy Lab) shows you the types of effects that they have.
Given that you only need at least two ingredients to brew a potion or poison, you'll want to ensure that the ingredients that you're using have a similar effect. Once discovered, these will appear on the panel so you can quickly craft them using specific items.
Moreover, you can visit Alchemy vendors, trainers, and even general goods stores. Check their wares and they might be selling recipes that you can learn instantly.
