NSFW Skyrim Mods: A Look at the Limited Options Available on PS4

Sony makes it tough to get more mature content added into the Skyrim experience, but there are a handful of mods available to add extra sex and violence to your Skyrim experience!

Much like with Fallout 4's limited NSFW mod options, finding the really good stuff is a serious challenge for the Skyrim console player. Hats off to Bethesda for making mods available for non-PC players at all, but unfortunately, the offerings are quite sparse.

Beside the fact that all the outright sexual or nude mods are banned entirely on Xbox One and PS4 (Hey, Microsoft and Sony, you know we're adults, right?), there's an extra hurdle for the PlayStation fans: Sony won't allow ANY external assets to be used in modding.

This puts a serious damper on what's capable, modding-wise, on the PS4, as even silly NSFW stuff like cursing, burping, farting mods aren't possible. And you can't get any of the sultry companions who say some of the more suggestive things like you can on the Xbox.

Of course, every once in awhile you'll get some brave soul uploading a nude mod that removes all clothes (rather than adding new nude textures), but it inevitably gets taken down and the modder gets banned withing a matter of days.

If you don't want to spend hours searching for what NSFW content is available for Skyrim on the PlayStation 4, here we've rounded up some of the best content that ups the blood factor and offers some extra eye candy.

More Blood And Gore!

Get It Here

Offering exactly what the title implies, this mod doesn't actually change the blood textures or bring in new effects to the game but rather ups the quotient of gore with each successful swing of your weapon.

Extra droplets will splatter across the screen and more will pool on the ground, resulting in some truly grisly battles when fighting large groups of bandits. You can pretty well paint Whiterun red with this one!

Nocturnal's Clothes

Get It Here

Get Varied Colors Nocturnal Robe Here

This sexy robe / sandal / hood getup was originally included in the Skyrim code, but it never actually made it into the game's wearable objects for some reason -- although they can be seen on some statuary in the game. PC players can rectify that easily by force-spawning the item IDs, but console fans will need a proper mod to get access.

Obviously, it's not as risque as anything you'll get with the various famous female outfit mods for PC, but the Nocturnal robes are quite a bit more revealing than the average Skyrim outfit. Seems like a lady mage running around those snow-capped peaks would get quite cold, quite quickly!

Non-Essential Children

Get It Here

You knew it was coming -- the most NSFW mod of them all that doesn't involve copulating werewolves or dominatrix outfits: the ability to break Bethesda's rules and kill the kids.

Personally, I love the reasoning for this mod displayed in the PS4 edition's mod description, which tries to make it seem like a noble endeavor to make kids killable:

- Immersion: Fight to protect the children you adopt. This will give your adopted children a priority never seen before.

- Courage: Watch as children stand beside the people they care about. They were raised as warriors, not cowards.

- Survival: Fight for the children. Skyrim is relentless, filled with dangerous enemies. Protect all the children of Skyrim

Yeah, sure thing buddy. We all know you just want to kill annoying beggar kids who won't stop bothering you in Whiterun. Just own up to it man, everyone feels the same way.

Because of how children are flagged in the Skyrim, this one doesn't play well with any combat overhaul mods, so be careful if you've got other mods installed!

Tavern Wench Default Outfits

Have a thing for the plunging necklines and the side-slit skirts of the tavern wench outfits? A series of mods will change the default outfit options for various characters so they are always wearing these more sultry clothing combos.

There's a pretty wide range of characters to apply this mod to, including some rather amusing ones, like Argonian lizard folk strutting their stuff in the wench getup.

Some truly killer wench mods exist for PC, but sadly, this is the best that is currently available for PS4 -- until Sony decides to allow bigger file sizes and external assets...

More Kill Moves And Decapitations

Get It Here

Those glorious kill-shot camera frames from the Fallout and Elder Scrolls series offers some truly brutal imagery when you get a perfect head shot or blow off a limb (Hey, that raider didn't need his left arm anyway).

Working within the confines of the PS4's modding structure, this modification greatly increases how often kill-shot moves occur, lets them happen multiple times in the same battle sequence, and makes it much more likely you'll send an enemy's head flying off into the woods from a decent decapitation.

Live With Serana

Get It Here

This one's for the bloodplay fans... or just anyone who misses vampire Bill pining after Sookie Stackhouse in True Blood.

With this mod, you can now get your very own vampire mistress by romancing and marrying Serana, who isn't normally allowed to be the target of your character's affections in vanilla Skyrim.

Now, if only we could get some of the naughty Skyrim mods on PS4 to spice up what happens when you move her into your home...

There may not be too many blood and sex mods available for the PS4 crowd, but if you look hard enough, you'll find a few to make Skyrim a more entertaining experience. What did you think of our picks, and what mods have you seen that we should add to the list?
