Now Paris Hilton is Also Getting a Video Game

Paris Hilton is a repeat offender on the "celebrities who have their own games" list.

First it was Kim Kardashian. Then it was Lindsay Lohan. Soon, Katy Perry and Kanye West will have their own as well.

Today, Hong Kong-based Animoca Brands announced that Paris Hilton would also have her own video game. The company signed a deal to agreement to license the name and likeness of Hilton, as well as imagery and content from Paris Hilton Entertainment, the company who manages her brand. Animoca Brands is responsible for other licensed gaming apps around characters like Ben 10, Garfield, Doraemon, and Astro Boy.

The game will be a mobile app.

“Paris Hilton is one of the world’s most recognized names and we are thrilled to be able to collaborate with her on mobile gaming titles,” remarked Robby Yung, CEO of Amioca Brands in a press statement.

“With Paris’s eye for what’s hot in the latest trends, and our experience at making popular mobile games, we are confident that consumers around the world will be receptive to Paris Hilton mobile games and themes.”

Hilton’s actually had another game before. In 2006, she partnered with Gameloft to make Paris Hilton’s Jewel Jam, although Hilton got the name of her own game wrong at the game’s release. Hilton stated, “Mobile gaming is really hot right now, and I’m excited to be part of this project.”

She’s right. Mobile gaming is really hot right now, but would you play a Paris Hilton-themed game? What do you think it would involve?
