Can your PC Run FFXV? Here's How You Find Out
As the PC community ardently awaits the arrival of the Final Fantasy XV on Windows in March, some are wondering if they can run the JRPG on the gaming rig.
To help those gamers out, Square Enix has released a free benchmark tool to help assess PC performance -- and playable viability -- by displaying sample scenarios and characters during a six-minute test. The tool will also assist in optimizing systems well before the game's arrival.
After the test, it will produce a score (noted in the link) to help determine if your system can withstand the grandeur of FFXV on PC.
Bear in mind that the benchmark is NOT a demo of the game.
The game will be 4K, 8K, HDR10 and Dolby Atmos compatible, and requires a graphics card supporting DirectX11 on a 64-bit Windows 7/8.1/10 as a minimum requirement at most. Check the NVIDIA website for more details on system compatibility.
FFXV is available now for pre-order. The game will come complete with all the DLC's found on PS4 and Xbox One, along with additional events, expansions, quests, and mod support (in the future).
